So if you didn’t know, I have a foster bunny and he is only 9 weeks. The people I got him from said he was a boy but I am not sure. I looked a second ago and it was very hard to tell, so I was wondering if I could ask some questions.

The way you tell is by seeing if it is a slit of a hole right? When I gently pressed it kind looked like a slit but it looked kind of long to be a girl. Do you know what I mean? lol this is hard to describe.

you can’t judge the length really, its either a slit or a hole. Flip Mocha and Lulu over to compare slit vs hole. I had the same issue when I brought Indy home.

It’s definitely hard to tell But once you get to know what you are looking for you’ll wonder what was so hard

What you might want to do is flip your bunnies-you know what you are looking for in terms of slit/cheerio so you’ll get a good idea. Then flip the baby and see what it looks like compared to your new-and-improved-bunny-bits knowledge

I think they’re like fairies and polywogs. It’s just impossible to tell, and they know before we do so you have to assume they hit puberty before it is visibly evident, keeping them apart if you have more than one MUCH sooner than you would expect. But visually, it will be several more weeks at least before it is clear to you, or even your vet. For now, a baby is a cute Tribble. You’ll know it’s gender soon enough.

Haha. That’s what I was thinking. The shelter that I am fostering him for said that they would take him for check up before his neuter to make sure, but I think I will be able to tell by then
