Yes, that word we all hate. I’ve been struggling with my lionhead Belle’s Pasteurella since I adopted her nearly a year ago. She’s been on and off Baytril which clears it up for a short time but then the sneezing and wet nose returns. It’s definitely a lot better than it was when I rescued her as at that time she literally had rubbed all the fur off her nose. But I just don’t know what to do anymore, I hear Pasteurella never truly goes away, the symptoms just subside and I feel so terrible because her nose is always wet and it looks pink and irritated (but no longer naked!). I just want her to not be sick anymore! Does anyone have any tips as to how to keep the symptoms at bay? I really hate using antibiotics and I would love to find a natural remedy or herb that could control the bacterial population and keep the symptoms tolerable. Not to mention, I know stress plays a huge part in Pasteurella flaring up and I don’t think frequent visits to the vet helps one bit. Has anyone had any luck with any alternative treatments? Or any suggestions at all?
Thank you in advance. I just want my poor baby to be healthy
