Sorry to vent on you guys but I’m freaking out and need some prayers and good vibes…. As some of you know I was awa from BB for a while when my grandma was sick. She passed away a month ago and things were starting to get to normal again till now…

My brother is trying to be a better man for his family and set a example for his children by stopping chewing tobacco. He has been having problems with his neck and is very perinoid that its cancer he has been having panic attacks and not eating or drinking enough either. He is a fire-medic and was almost air flighted to a hospital from a house fire the other night becuae he passed out in the fire due to heat exhaustion and dehidration… Hes not sleeping at night and has worse panic attacks when he is at work alone. He wont tell my parents because he dosent think they can handle anymore stress with loosing my sister and grandpa 6 years ago then my grandma last month.. My sister in-law called me crying saying she dosent know how to handle his attacks and is stresed out.

My brother is my best friend…. I cant loose another sibling… Just need some support and hugs

He needs to see a doc, the panic attacks can be easily taken care of. With that taken care of, he will probably feel better, sleep better, and probably take better care of himself. I know, my hubby went through the same thing.

Give him a hug, and tell him to see a doc. It’s not cancer, its just a chemical imbalance

(((Vibes))) You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

And yes, he needs to see a doctor.

              *hugs*

He definitely needs to see a doctor! Like the others said, this is treatable, but he has to seek treatment first.

My dad recently has quit chewing tobacco. The first few days were hard, but he now chews on mints and such. It has been a habit for him since high school. He feels a lot better and some money is saved.

Losing a loved one can definitely have some major changes. *vibes and hugs*

Ditto others advice. Alot of what you’ve mentioned sounds similar to my bro in law who has an anxiety disorder. So treatable, so you and your sister in law urge him to see a doctor. He might be resistant if he believes he has cancer but be supportive and keep trying. He might even have some services available to him through the fire department.

GREAT news! We did talk him into going and getting a blood test and a scope of his throat done and all the test and scope came back normal they gave him muscle relaxers to help with the issue. Because of the stress of quitting tobacco and thinking he has cancer on top of his stressful job, his neck was tightening up causing his discomfort. He also is going to go to get some massage therapy for his neck to help.
I cannot begin to tell you guys how relieved I am! Thanks for the vibes and support *HUGS*

I am so grateful to hear that he will be okay!
Still praying for him though, I’ve heard that quitting is really difficult and he’ll need the good vibes!
