        Hey all.

So I figured I’d give Arthur some newspaper to have fun with only one sheet (and a mini newspaper at that), but instead of shredding it and what not, he just seemed to eat it. So I’m guessing no newspaper for Arthur?

If he’s eating it might be best ot get him something else to shred/play with.

He has toys and such, I just figured I’d try something new. He seems to eat everything, the glutton.

Newspaper these days is made with soy based ink. But I would double check with the newspaper that your bunny is eating. Vivian likes to eat newspaper and phone books too. If you find out the ink is soy based, then you don’t really have to worry as it is digestible. You just have to make sure he doesn’t fill up on paper and forgoes his regular food. Also make sure he is eating plenty of hay.

Thanks BB. I will double check about the ink because he seemed happy about the newspaper (he was trying to bring it up to the second level of his condo). As for the hay, he eats and eats and eats it. I let him have free run of the bag (did you see the pictures I posted?) because he doesn’t seem to care to have it in or around his litter box. When I do put it in the cage, I actually put it above the litter box through one of the squares in his NIC condo, so that it hangs. Works great!
