  Ok so some of you know that I re did Bugz and Anyas hutch to be more pen like, but we are having a few issues.
  
  1) Bugz can jump/climb really well so the amount of times I have come home to him romping around the house is starting to not get funny.
  
  2) Due to point one I now turn all eletrics off at the main fuse box after Bugz and Anya escaped and tried to kill themselves (Also had no TV or internet for 3 days as i replaced all the cables!)
  
  3) For some reason twice now I have come home and found the rabbits on the outside and the cats on the inside of a closed and LOCKED cage/pen… i need to set up a web cam to work out how the heck that happened!
  
  4) Rufus not wanting to be left out has also discovered how to take the door off his Hutch (takes him on average about 1/2 and hour…. so now he has to be locked in a room seperate from anywhere Bugz and Anya can escape to…
  
  Honest to god, if I put another zip tie, padlock, holder, top or whatever on their cage it is going to fold in on them!
  
  Add to that i paid $60AU for my cotton tail cottage….. yeah that was a great 15 mins…… yeah 15 whole frelling mins… and a pile of carboard later! *bangs head on desk* I mean COME ON… but I guess they had a great 15mins at the time…..

  PS yes I am gumpy about this but is a “you have to laugh” sort of way, bugz goes a begg for treats and shows me his little white tummy and he could have set off a nuke in my back yard and I would forgive him….

  I am using the Storage cage grides but mum found out how they where getting out by watching them from around the corner…. sneaky bunnies!

  So how’d they do it? Squeeze thru some gaps? And how did the cats get in there (or shut in there-lol)??
  
  I think your rabbits should audition for Kate Monsters Planet of the Bunnies film.

  Well it is a very skilled trick, Bugz gets into/ontop of the hay rack and then works one of the top corner up (one that is locked down so I can lift to clean) once wedged Anya then steps up to the plate and also does the same thing. Normally at this point they have made so much noise that the cats have come to check out what is going on and see their chance to get to the remains of the cottontail cottage and squeeze in the gap the rabbits have created….. so mum said there where two rabbits with their heads out and two cats with their heads in and then everyone moves forward and BAM rabbits out and cats in! So now the rabbits hop along the top of the cage to the end that is close to the barrier to the main room and with a run and a jump (lead by Bugz of course) they go flying over the barrier and into the living room…. And that my dears is how the great rabbit escape of 2011 happened… The top is now clipped down in 4 different sections due to this!

  Can you please go back a step, secure the top the way you had it and set up a candid camera?! lol Too funny, wish I was a fly on the wall to have seen it.
