Omg, it’s August already? Crazy.

I’m just waiting to get my house! Only one week and two days until closing. We’re planning to have some friends over the night after to run around the empty house 🙂

And I almost always feel too lazy to go to work!

I’m just trying to wait out the extreme summer heat – 106F yesterday, ugh! Had A/C set to 70 and it couldn’t get the house below 80, even after the sun went down. Poor bunnies were like “make it cooler mom!” and flopped out on the A/C vents. Can’t really do much outside until it cools off, last week it was 111! Boyfriend works in a metal shop with no A/C, with welders on one side and a laser torch on the other side – it’s about 120-130F in the shop, 10 hour days 6 days a week at the moment. So fun for him (not!).

Wanted to start a garden for the bunnies (and me!) but in this heat, everything would just wilt.

Dangit Brit, I only have that game for computer!!! Please get a good computer so we can play something together :p ok prolly cheaper for me to get a ps3 huh!

I went camping with my bf at Lake Amador, it’s north of Stockton I guess. It was pretty dusty and dry, but Aeron caught a 22inch trout and some smaller ones. I only caught blue gills. I said “FISH ON FISH ON FISH ON!!!!” I was very proud of myself. I also joined him with a cigar and whiskey. It was disgusting but a bonding experience?? lol …ew. I brought my pomeranian Wickett with us and he didn’t sleep well the first night. We setup camp in the dark so he didn’t get to explore and Aeron’s tent is half net so we left it open so we could star gaze…..hahahaha pooor pooooor wickypom sat up all night staring out. Scared stiff. Poor little man. I made up for it the next day and we went swimming all day in the lake while the bf was fishing. Wicky LOVES swimming. Crazy pom!!!

I put bedding on my new cali king bed today The only carpet left now is under my fish tank …which I ran into a problem….the tank stand is bowing in the back from water damage. New ones for a 50 gallon tank run 200$ ….ughhhhhh. I don’t know how dad will feel about trying to fix it with a new piece of wood or if I need to buy a new stand. bleh.

I got a super nice compliment yesterday at the grocery store. I was with my bf shopping and we were looking at cakes (it was his bday) and I noticed this man looking at me as I walked by but I didn’t think anything of it. We were then grabbing some soy milk and he went up to Aeron and told him I was the prettiest girl he has ever seen and how lucky he was to be with me. HOW SWEET IS THAT?? I don’t know if it’s the weight loss…or the new confidence vibe I am putting out from losing weight but I have been getting so many compliments. I was like YEA THATS RIGHT BOYFRIEND!!! (in my head haha!!!) I turned bright red though lol!!!! I think it’s just the new confidence from feeling better about myself. I am so happy to be wearing clothing I wore in highschool again I feel like a brand new person!!!

CONGRADS!!!!! To everyone for the good news.

I’m moving back to my apartment tomorrow! I haven’t been there in 3 months! Lol. The buns and I have a long 5 hour drive… most of it is on a 2 lane highway with nothing to see. :\ Velvateen does well in the car and usually just spreads out and naps in his comfy carrier. Fievel on the other hand, totally shuts down. I guess he sleeps, but he doesn’t eat or drink ever. I have Critical Care so I’ll probably be making some of that up for him.
I”m so nervous for school to start! It’s exciting but I don’t know anyone at this school. Plus I have like 6 classes and it’s Monday through Friday and like 9am to 5pm.

Nothing new with me really. Same old, same old. But I have a massage therapy appointment scheduled at the end of the month and I’m going to see my primary physician to discuss my medications. Some tweaking might be done. Also, I need something done for my pms as that significantly affects my back pain and nerve symptoms.

Lolli’s doing good. She’s currently all pissy cause I just brushed her. Then I had the nerve to clip her nails. How DARE I! LOL

I have this Thursday and Friday off. My plan is to clean. I thought it would be nice to clean up the house a bit for my dad as he’s gone on a harley trip right now. But we’ll see how Thursday and Friday goes. I always have plans. They don’t always happen though. lol

I’ve been busy wedding planning. I can’t wait to just be done with it all, in truth. It’s so time consuming. Bought rings yesterday and today I’m going to look at a reception hall.

Does anyone know of any good, cheap jewelry sites for, like, costume jewelry? I want a bracelet and a necklace with an ancient Rome feel to them and I can’t find anything around here. Don’t want to spend much because the rings ended up costing more than budgeted (even with a no tax sale).

It’s been raining all week which sucks because it’s my bf’s only week off. We spent the only nice day building our storage shed which was just oodles of fun.

I’m getting on the exercising ball too. I want to lose at least 10 lbs before October. How do you guys feel about low-carb diets?

I’m drinking coffee right now with Olivia listening to Bindi go “diggy diggy diggy”. He feels that Olivia’s turn is up, the little stinker.

LPT Have you tried looking at Avon or Meet Mark? Might have luck with those. Otherwise you could try Cookie Lee. They have awesome jewelery and their prices are very reasonable.

LPT, I would look around Etsy – there are a million people there who make really nice jewelry very cheaply.

As for low carb diets – I could never do it. I tried with my mom a couple times and made it about 2 weeks before I ate half a loaf of bread. I just couldn’t handle the cravings for carbs like bread and pasta. Carbs are my favorite foods, so I do better when I try to limit portion size and make things healthy as possible, but still let myself eat carbs. I do know people who have done Atkins and had huge success with it though, so if it’s something you can stick to it can work, but I imagine it would be very hard as a veggie/vegan because your protein options would be limited.

Low-carb diets … depends on what you do it as. If you mean like atkins, no way, unhealthy! If you limit your carbs, rather than remove them, yes it can help you with losing weight. Best thing to do is limit your caloric intake to how much you burn per day and try to lose a few pounds a week though, while upping your exercise.

Tempeh is pretty low in carbs and excellent protein from a non-meat source.

Definitely check out Etsy, LPT. Lots of awesome stuff to be found on there, alot of which, if it is too expensive, the people who make it are willing to change materials for the same look, but cheaper.

Wow! Sounds like everyone is having a good month so far!
I don’t really have any news to report. This is my birthday month, and my mom’s as well. We are planning to spend a day making mexican food and watching Harry Potter.
My bf will be joining me at school this year! He took a few years off, this will be the first semester we are both attending. I’m excited about it but also a little nervous that we really won’t see eachother much since he works mornings and has classes in the afternoon, whereas I work nights and have classes in the afternoon. Our classes are on separate ends of the campus too. We will work it all out, I’m just a worrier.
The Hucklebun has been extra cuddly lately. She usually keeps to herself, when she wants pets she lays down next to the couch and bumps me until I pet her, but she very rarely joins me on the couch. Lately though, she hops onto the couch multiple times a day and snuggles up next to me and tooth purrs. It’s sweet and I love it but it worries me when she isn’t her normal antisocial self.

First time on the MONTHLY chats…pretty cool to read about what everyone is doing! As for me…

My nine-year old daughter will be going to Vancouver with my sister and mom in a couple of weeks. She will be gone for 5 days! I’ve never been away from her for more than a day so this will be interesting. I will miss her very much! School is already starting for her on the 30th-she will be in 4th grade! This summer flew by! She also made it to the hip-hop dance team and practice also starts this month so needless to say, we will be super busy!!

As for bunny news, I will be taking all three buns to the vet on the 19th. Coconut for a well-check and pre-neuter appointment. Sugar to have his teeth checked. And Pepper for a nail trim. Oh, these bunnies are sure keeping me busy as well!

And for me, work, work, work….

I feel you, I gave my boss open availability and she is only scheduling me 25 hours a week. I would like to be getting 35. She just hired like 3 more people so I can kiss that idea off.

I took 2 weeks off with no pay…. *cry*

Brit, I’m excited about you starting school! Starting a new school program is one of the most exciting and scary things. Starting a new job is kind of similar, but it just doesn’t carry the same amount of excitement (for me at least) as starting school did.

All of the worry over hours makes me glad that I’m salaried! Of course, that means that I end up working more than 40 hours a week for the same pay, but at least it’s consistent and I can plan my bills around it. It must be so stressful to have to worry about having your hours cut.

Yeah, when I worked for a grocery store it was all over the place – 15 hours, then 35 hours the next week.

We have a bunch of hourly employees here, but they work a specific shift – 12 hour days or nights, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, etc where the 3 day periods are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so they work every other weekend. It’s not a bad system to get all of your hours in only about 4 days per week. I work a standard Monday through Friday, 8-5, but if something needs to get done on evenings or weekends I have to do it anyway.

It is nice to be salaried because I can make my own ours if I need to. Like if I have a dentist appointment at 9am, I’ll just come into work late and nobody cares. But then, like I said, nobody cares if I have to work on the weekend either. lol

Also, since our jobs can be done almost completely from the computer (except for going to meetings) it’s perfectly acceptable to work from home once and a while – it’s convenient if it’s snowing really bad, or you have a sick kid, or need to wait for the repair man or something.

Speaking of working.. got me a job, start Friday It’s awesome, cuz like half the office is people I know already lol. Yay for friends in high places!

Yay MB!! What kind of work is it? It’s so great that you know so many people there already – when I started this job I knew a bunch of people and it made the transition so much easier.

I’ll be calling doctors to get interviews for a magazine. Alot of on the phone work, but its a nice place

That sounds pretty cool! Do you get to interview them too? Or just get them to agree to an interview?

I get them to agree to the interview, then I pass them over to the friend of mien who got me the job. he does the actual interviews.

That sounds like fun, though I’m not great at talking on the phone so I don’t think I’d be very good at it 😉

My friend Jonathan, from Germany, will be coming to visit on the 9th until at least the 20th I’m super excited!! He flew into Vancouver today and is going to stay there for now. Much more interesting than my boring old town Once he gets here though, me and my friend and hopefully her sister are going to take him on a road trip! We’re going to do Jasper and Banff and hopefully make it to Drumheller! Most of you probably don’t know those places though We’re going to camp most of the way to save money and do some white water rafting, glacier tours, and hiking I’m SO excited!

I know all those places I’m from Vancouver, lived in Edmonton a few years, then Medicine Hat a few years

August is looking pretty good for me too, but SUPER busy! as I have mentioned before my parents are business owners, and one of the employees who was like an assistant manager quit.. so guess who gets to pick up the slack there. haha. it’s office work too, so I won’t be making more in tips. buttttt, I feel bad seeing my parents run around like chickens with no heads.

on top of my parents business, I also work half the week at a community organization in Oakland. I signed on as a social services intern [unpaid], and today I got some pretty exciting news. my boss and coworkers have been pretty impressed with my work and attitude, so they’re giving me an unpaid internship version of a promotion lol. I’ll be heading my own little program and creating a new project [dealing mostly with community advocacy and public policy work], so I’ll be responsible for keeping up with state and national policies, drafting letters and petitions to send into Sacramento, etc. still not getting paid, but this experience is amazing!

also, since my birthday just passed, I have a couple new toys.. the first one being my dyson vacuum which has actually made vacuuming a joyous experience for me lol. and the other being a new laptop! finallllly. it’s a refurbished macbook, so I got the price down a little bit. now I don’t need to have the power cord plugged in just to use it and I can have several applications open without my computer constantly giving me that rainbow pinwheel of death haha. rorschach gave me a scare, but he is 110% better now, and nikka is fine as she usually is. plus.. this month is me and paul’s official 3 year anniversary =P

Sounds like everyone has a pretty positive outlook for the month. My big news is that my son is coming home from college. (Anyone got any good tips for encouraging a green kid on getting his first REAL job?) It is a permanent sitch at the moment. He just couldn’t hold up his end on his studies and so he was taken out of his scholars program. I was disappointed, I feel it’s a terrible waste of a good opportunity, but I suppose one has to be ready for this sort of thing and he just never got ready.

Daughter won’t like it. She doesn’t have a great relationship with him. And hubby is already talking about all the work he’s going to have him be doing for him. It’s going to get very testy around here for awhile. 0_o;

My big plans for the next few months are getting the three buns bonded and moving them to their own area so they don’t have to share a room with me and the mutt. (Although my house is so small, I don’t think there’s much option for that.) Then we’ll also be weatherproofing (hopefully) and getting things ready for winter. Autumn is already here in the north country and you’ll be hearing me complain about the snow flying probably by my b-day. It was a short summer, Charlie Brown. *sigh*

My dad once took me to a place outside of Marysville called Collins Lake. It was so dry (drought…the never ending one) that we couldn’t really catch much more than the crappie. I swam in it (it was like mud almost) and almost drowned trying to make it about half a mile without touching shore. But getting out of the water was terrible because the heat was up to about 105 in the shade. It was a miserable trip and that was with a 28 foot motorhome to sleep in. We never went back. >.<

I would NEVER go on Atkins or anything like that. Those diets are horrible. Any diet that tells you not to eat fruit is obviously unhealthy. I could never give up fruit. I love fruit. I found a site that has menu plans for a low carb vegetarian diet so I think I’m going to try that. The only carb that I’m really hooked on is cereal. I love cereal but I’ll just have to switch to the higher fiber cereal.

I had a dream last night that Olivia had babies. I was freaking out “She was spayed like 3 years ago!!! How can she have babies?” There were 10 little babies. They were grey like her but lops. Can you imagine, 10 little Olivia’s honking all over the house? “honk honk boing boing binky honk honk”. Eeep. There ARE actually little Olivia honker babies out there though. The pet store told me she had babies shortly before I got her.

Only one week from today we’ll be home owners!

This morning DH and I were talking about how to move the bunnies. From the 12th through the 18th we’re just going to move whatever stuff we can fit in our cars – all of the stuff we don’t use every day. I’m going to try and hire movers for the 19th to move all of our furniture and the bigger items. Now, we’ll still have our apartment so we can keep going back to get stuff after that, but we’ll be living in the new house since all of our furniture will be there.

The question is – do I move the bunnies before the movers show up? Or after? I’m worried that they’ll be freaked out by people moving all around them and us packing up dishes. Then again, moving them to a new empty house the night before (so they’d spend the night there alone) seems scary too. I’m torn. I don’t think Otto will care either way, but I’m trying to help Hannah out since she gets a little freaked out sometimes. The good thing about moving them first is that they could be in their own room and nobody would be constantly walking past them with furniture and things.

I’d keep them with you, new places can be scary. Maybe tuck them in a room the movers wont be going in, like the bathroom?

When my boyfriend and I moved to our house we cleaned everything out, aired it out and then one of the first things we brought over was the animals and I stayed with them. I don’t like leaving my babies alone, so they stayed with me through the move as much as possible. Just put them in a room that is relatively quiet imo and won’t need a lot of furniture put in it. And lots of nummy treats!

I have a crazy busy August coming up, especially the end of it!  My boyfriend will be finishing up his summer intensive arabic program next week and coming to stay with me for a week during which I have law school orientation, then we get to drive back to Indiana so I can take my MA competency exams, then come immediately  back here and I start law school two days later, lol.  It would have been nice to have at least a week before I start school to not be doing things like studying and taking exams, but that’s what I get for not signing up for the March exam date. I have to leave bunnies alone over night for the first time, which I hate! But I’ll be leaving late Friday afternoon and coming up Saturday evening, being alone for a night and a bit off schedule for meals and free time seemed like it would be much stressful than driving back and forth with me.  Then it will be my birthday and I’ve decided it’s going to be my last one, 25 seems the right age to stop getting older I think.

They’ll be living in the dining room in the new house – for now there won’t be any furniture in there except the hutch/buffet thing we keep their stuff in. The movers will be able to go into the other rooms without disturbing them and there are even doors between that room and the living room. In our current house, it’s very open and they’re right in the middle of things, so I worry that Hannah will freak out, especially when we’re packing up dishes and moving the furniture out of the main level. We could also take them to the house and temporarily set them up in a spare bedroom, since we only have furniture for one or two of the three extra rooms – the movers wouldn’t need to go in there.

We can’t take them over in the morning before the movers come because they’ll show up at 9am and it’s more than 30min to the new house. I guess we could pack the bunnies in my car right when the movers arrive and DH could stay with the movers and help them get the rest of the stuff out while I drive them to the new house – then they won’t have to stay the night there alone, but they won’t be at our townhouse when the movers are running around.

Poor bunnies! Otto will hardly notice anything is going on, but Hannah is going to be very nervous for a couple weeks.

I remember that ChaCha was a bit angry about her move. Haha. I think the bunnies will be happy because the living room is wall-to-wall carpet. We don’t plan to keep it long term, but for a few years at least they can run and binky more than ever.

I’m really sorry to hear about your dad’s job! That really sucks.

Can he use his connection with your uncle to leverage a job at Boeing? The only reason I was even interviewed for my current job is that friends recommended me, so who you know is a big deal with finding jobs, especially in this market. I didn’t have much luck at all with sending my resume out online – I only got one response.

Has he done research into bankruptcy? Found an attorney?

I’m sorry to hear your Dad is having troubles, Brittany. Please tell Chacha to be extra nice to him.

Stupid girlfriend! That’s so lame, especially to break up with someone via email. She could’ve at least waited until she saw him in person again.

LPT, my friend’s husband set up a birthday party for her last year, claiming it was her 30th birthday. Some people were really confused, “I thought Lindsay was older than that?” Lol. She was actually turning 34.

My Grandma has been 27 for…. a long long time

I’m not afraid to turn 30, but I might want to stick with that age for some time!

I’ll be 28 next year! Rounding in on 30 …

That really sucks about your dad and the job, my dad can probably relate: he has a master’s degree and decades of work experience and he’s currently working part time at Gander Mountain (a hiking, hunting, fishing, general outdoor activity store in case you don’t have them where you are).  Cheers to the Michigan auto industry, blech.  In general though, there’s so much competition for so few jobs right now that it’s rough for those people that companies would probably have to pay more: ie, those who have lots of experience and/or education, since they can just hire someone right out of college or high school who will work for pennies and won’t be retiring anytime soon.

Holy cow but the bunnitude is getting out of control, especially Kate!  I learned a very important bunny rule, never ever brag about or praise your bunny’s(ies’) behavior, it insults their destructo bunny honor and they will have no choice but to prove you wrong.  At my old apartment, Kate always tried to nibble on my boyfriend’s movies and my books, I was so happy she hadn’t done it here and after three weeks thought maybe she wouldn’t so I told my boyfriend that she wasn’t doing it here… that night she tried to kill the cover of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (lol at her choice) and nibbled all the corner of my bottom shelf books. (and yes, I know, if I don’t want them nibbled I should move them or protect them, working on it)  Another night she pretty much destroyed the cardboard slip cover of Oliver and Company.  Then I said to my mom that they have never eaten my furniture… the next evening Spencer decided to start eating the back of a bookshelf and Katie joined in.  They can do a lot of damage in just a few seconds of nibbling. Argh! And in general I think that Kate just hit a delayed teenager-hood.  I have a plastic mat down on the bottom of their pen to protect the carpet for when Spence inevitably pees off the end of the litter box (a bigger box cut that down by a lot, but he still pees like a 5 year old boy who can’t quite make it in the bowl sometimes, and sometimes he mistakes other things for litter boxes, silly brat).  It’s covered with a fleece blanket bc Katie once started eating the plastic and for comfy bunny toes, well she has taken to digging up (and in the process, shredding) the blanket and ripping the plastic again, over and over.  She’s also been rattling the pen bars a lot, even, and maybe especially, when it’s open! I’m not sure if all this Katie-tude is delayed adjustment to a new home acting out, or she’s now truly comfortable enough with me and her home to let her brat flag fly. And you know what?  She’s still so cute that I can’t get mad, it’s just cute and funny, lol.  I’m truly addicted to mind altering drug that is bunny cuteness.

 I’ve been apartment hunting with my boyfriend, as his lease expires at the end of the month, and I’m SO EXCITED for the bunnies right now! He made sure to only look at pet-friendly places, even though I have my own pet-friendly place (well, dorm room…). We looked at some very nice, and some very not-nice places, and he’s decided to keep renting his current 3-bedroom apartment… but without roommates! AND he’s agreed to let the bunnies have their very own room!!!! They’re going to be so excited. They get the office- it’s about 7′ by 13′ and attached to a lovely enclosed porch (Bailey’s favorite playtime area). Much better than being stuck in their x-pen/cage setup I’ll probably be keeping them here instead of in my dorm room. They’ll be a lot happier with more place to run, and my allergies will be better if I don’t have to keep a bale of hay in my dorm room  Plus I come over almost every day, anyway, because I work in the area. Yay! Now I just have to figure out how to bunnyproof the whole room… Bailey’s been a super-destructo-bunny lately 

Yeah, my mother can relate as well – she’s got a bachelors degree and is in school to finish up to her masters – worked at the same place for 12+ years until the economy caused them to ship her job to China because it saved them money so now she works at Dollar General for $8 an hour… talk about over qualified to be stocking toilet paper. The job market at the moment is terrible, especially for the older workers who lost their jobs recently and are “too old” to be hired for new ones. I feel bad for them! Hope your dad has a turn of luck soon.

Powder is going through his heavy molt and oddly enough it… is making him HAPPY and hyper. He did the highest binky I have ever seen him do this morning. He’s been acting like a kid though, wanting to get into everything he knows he shouldn’t and nibbling at the bookcase even though he knows he’s not supposed to lol silly bunny. … I hate to tell him he has to go to the vet next week for a check up and if all checks out OK to be snipped 😮

Gah I am so sleepy but drying this comforter took 3 times in the drier and now I have the middle blanket in the dryer!!

I expanded bee and indy’s pen out 5 more grids, as I was doing it Bee foot flicked me!!! Then after I was done she was binking all over, it was so cute I haven’t seen her do a binky in SO long.

Made an awesome dinner tonight! I found it in an issue of Bon Appetit – it’s called Big Island Wild Pig with Cavatelli (all you Hawiians should like that 😉 ). It’s basically just pork shoulder (since I obviously don’t have access to wild pig) simmered for hours, then added to pasta with the simmering liquid, some garlic, tomatoes, arugula, and goat cheese. Yum!! I love anything with pork shoulder simmered until it’s tender, but adding pasta makes it even better.

Getting excited for our house this week! We bought two cedar Adirondack chairs today. Funny, we went to the store yesterday and found them, but when we went back today they were $100 less for the pair. Haha. Maybe we should’ve waited longer! We couldn’t fit the chairs into our car, so we paid for them and we’ll borrow our friends’ truck tomorrow to bring them home. I love Adirondack chairs! I can’t wait to sit on our patio in our new chairs.

I posted a quick sentence the other day but this is my first “true post” in chit chat.

Today at work my wonderful coworkers surprised me with a cake and lots of food. I recently graduated Nursing school and last month I passed my boards. I am waiting to hear on a couple of jobs I applied for within the hospital I work at, should be any day now.

My boyfriend and I, on Friday, went for a tour and had an appointment with Tufts University. He is going to go back to school for Veterinary Medicine. He already has a Bachelor’s in Science, Biology major, but as most of you know, the job economy SUCKS. When he was originally in school he wanted to go to Vet School but was just so sick of it. Now after a short time out he wants to go back. It’s tuff to get in though. Of 700 applicants per year they only accept about 100. The good thing is, he has the GPA, experience and references. It won’t be until next fall he’ll apply but I’m crossing my fingers now! OH! And he said he wants to make sure he is well versed in exotics AND may do a residency in Surgery! Lord knows we need more bunny vets!

My daughter starts dance shortly and she’s upped the amount of classes she is taking. AND she wants to try out for another dance team. Oh man, my wallet and bank account are already crying. Last week she got bit in the eye by a baby Children’s python. She had a black eye for a few days, she thought it was cool. It was her fault though and wasn’t holding the snake properly. She wanted to take a picture with it and held it up to her face. *shakes head*

So that’s my August. Nothing too exciting.

Chacha, understanding the job market is easy… it’s not what you know, but who you know that matters. My boyfriend has gotten hired for two jobs in a row for things he’s not qualified for, simply because he got vouched for by people in positions of power. lol My brother is the same way… though my brother tends to just lie and say he has done things or knows people he doesn’t and they don’t bother to check. Neither of them have any issue getting hired onto a new well paying job when they need to, neither have a degree or really any qualifications. My mother has refused both of their offers to teach her how to lie her way into a job though, she insists on getting one honestly or not at all – so it took her 6+ months to find a new one.

Boyfriend is going to get off Friday to take Powder to the vet. Fingers crossed that they OK his neuter so I can start bonding him to my girl mini-rex!

Stickerbunny, I hear that. Sometimes I die a little inside because of how certain I am in the knowledge that the fact that even though I have BA, MA, and am starting on a JD, my brother who only has decades out of date computer certifications and such a short attention span that he manages to switch from high paying job to high paying job at least every two years, will always make more money than me and always find jobs faster… because he’s good at networking and he’s charismatic. And I’m just a smart, quiet, little dork who sucks at that stuff. Ah well, so it goes.

I’m so sorry to hear about your dad, Brittany! that girlfriend is absolutely terrible for breaking it off in an EMAIL, my god. if you want me to send nikka so her and chacha can gang up on the woman, give me the word =P

it is really sad what’s going on with our job market. my parents own a small diner and I have people who have wayyyy too many qualifications [masters, business background, etc] applying to be a freaking waiter/waitress. it sucks because alot of companies will turn people down since they are “overqualified”, they don’t want someone who may possibly push for higher wages, benefits, etc. they would rather start with someone who has no experience and will take whatever they can get.

that’s why I’m debating right now whether it’s even worth going to grad school. I was pretty set on getting my master’s degree, but with the way things are right now I feel like it may just be a waste of money and time I could be spending working my way up. sigh.

I was very lucky to finally get the job I have. The only reason I got it is that a lot of friends who are respected in the company gave me references. The friend who got me hired to my current group is actually my boss now, which worked out. I didn’t have experience in this industry and was out of school for too long to be considered a recent grad, so the references are what mattered. It sucks out there! I had to wait a couple years before the company was even hiring, 10 months of that I was unemployed.

My job is because of a friend of mine that works there.

Kate, yeah … I am shy and quiet and that doesn’t come off well in interviews and I refuse to turn my using a personal computer at home into “extensive computer experience of over 10 years” like they want me to rofl so getting a job is hard, but once I do get it my bosses love me cause I work hard and learn fast. *shrug*

angie, yeah, I was in charge of taking applications and “sorting” them into “approved” or “no way ever” stacks when I quit one of my jobs (boss hired her boyfriend and decided she and he could take all day off on the clock and leave me alone to take care of 200+ customers + stock the store, uh… no). Had a lot of over qualified people applying to stock bread onto shelves.

Brit, I don’t think it’s quite the same as kalua pig, but it’s probably inspired by it – it’s pork shoulder with a rub of fennel seeds, red pepper flakes, paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper – seared, then braised in chicken stock for 3-4 hours. It’s nice and spicy and I love the addition of the fennel. The pasta part is simple – just slightly cook some garlic, tomatoes (I think the recipe used cherry tomatoes, I just diced up larger tomatoes), and arugula, then add a bunch of goat cheese and the meat along with the liquid it was cooked in. So good and really not hard to make.

I think the recipe originally came from an upscale Hawiian hotel and they printed a little story about it, along with the recipe, in the magazine. I just love any recipe that involves braised pork shoulder that’s tender and falling apart. Yum!

Britt why the heck would she want to lecture you about that, seems like it’s not really her business …and plus you gotta get used to ur school workload and balance that with work. It’s not easy. How did you stop yourself from strangling her?

I had a really bad day at work yesterday. These 2 girls that come in all dolled up, 6 inch high heels, fake eye lashed, 2 tons of makeup, tight clothing, etc etc ….oi oi oi….anyways they are SO RUDE. They constantly return their drinks and nothing is ever right. I don’t know why they come back. They have major attitude and are just some of the most vial women I have ever ran into.

So they come into my line, I’m like…….GREAT NOT THESE TWO AGAIN.

They claim they just were in drive thru and they ordered a bold coffee, a tall in a grande cup, and that this is not bold, it is pikes place.

I was like okay…….and then the lid is off the coffee and she dumps it all over the counter, the register, and all over me.

I also have a line out the door. Random rush. GREAT.

So I explain we stop brewing bold at 12 and I have to do a pour over which takes 5min and added stress that 20 people are in my line. I ask my coworker who to please start it. Meanwhile I get on the headset and I am so PISSED off at the drive thru kids because they should have just told these two rude women that we don’t ahve bold but instead they take a short cut and give pikes place and hope they won’t know. Well people who drink coffee everyday they KNOW the different tastes and I am like wow you guys are so irrisponsable how could you do that blahh blahhhh

Then a light bulb comes on…..wait….the coffee was cold??
The people in DT said ….they didn’t serve those 2 girls, and everyone hates them and they knew who they were and said no they didn’t come in DT.
I bumped all the orders back almost 3 hours and no one ordered bold coffee…………..

So not only did I get mad at my coworkers when they were innocent…..I was TOTALLY taken advantage of.

Cleaning up the mess, giving them a free drink voucher and getting them a pour over took about 10-15min of other peoples time including mine and they just totally lied.

My manager wasn’t in and I have these 2 days off but I need to write up an incident report and hopefully we can refuse service to these girls next time.

My job is alright, sort of boring but it’s the people like this that really make me miserable. What if that coffee was hot? She got it all over my apron, legs (i had shorts on) and shoes. She didn’t even say sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so frustrated it was so stupid.

Please don’t take your lids off your coffee if you are returning it ….sigh. That water is 200 degrees. Not cool

In other news Papa just got taken to the hospital, don’t know the details…….off I go………sigh

Lindsey I HATE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! especially in the food and beverage industry, people are so ridiculous with their demands and can be so downright rude and inhumane.. and over what? a cup of coffee? freaking breakfast food?! I feel like alot of people [especially like the girls you described, all dolled up and superficial] think servers/baristas are like servants and they have the right to boss us around because they’re paying customers. pshhhh. ugh.

brittany- message me the details about your dad’s car. paul’s a mechanic so he can at least try and guess what you guys need to do, and if you do take it to a shop you can double check the price with us to see if you’re getting ripped off or not. hope it helps a little bit, car troubles are such a hassle!

Linds, that’s absolutely horrible! I can’t believe someone would do that! I hope you’re able to get your managers to refuse them service, but man, what a crappy work day it caused for you.

I just had to ‘entrance counseling’ for my loans for law school, I haven’t had to do them for awhile as the entrance counseling is supposed to be good for like, 10 years and I did it for undergrad, but apparently Illinois requires it regardless. And holy cow, that is the silliest thing in existance, those of you who have had to do it probably remember. It’s all online and it throws tons of info at you on about 16 pages and each page has a few quiz questions at the bottom about the info on that page, lots of info, but easy to answer the questions with said info on the same page. But the answer to EVERY SINGLE QUESTION is either true or all of the above, you don’t even have to read the information or the questions for that matter. lol.

Sorry your work day was so bad I can’t stand customer service – people get so rude over nothing. Like they are entitled to so much because they are a paying customer, so can treat the employees like garbage. And most of them aren’t even any higher in the financial bracket than the employees they treat so badly (not that it would make it right if they were). o.O

I never minded if they were on the phone, just less small talk I had to make lol. I had a bunch of rude customers when I worked at the bakery store – one woman screamed at me through the door cause we were closed and she wanted to get $0.75 bread instead of having to pay $1.25 at the grocery store. Another misread a sign and argued with my boss for like 10 minutes at the checkout line over the price of an item, which my boss was yelling at her right back which didn’t help… I had to intervene and take the customer back to the aisle to show her the price sign for the item, with like 10 customers in line waiting. Oh and my favorite… we had senior citizen day and we had to ask every customer who looked anywhere near the age if they were 55 or older, which got me a LOT of rude responses from women… and I couldn’t win for losing either, if I didn’t ask they got mad because they didn’t get a discount, if I did ask I was a rude kid for thinking they look old. *sigh* Oh then this one woman got mad because I said I had never tried vitamin water when she asked and she offered me her open bottle that she had already had some out of and I declined because I don’t like drinking after anyone, even my own family … she was like “I’m not diseased, you don’t have to be like that” when all I said was no thank you.  

I didn’t mind if people were on the phone when I was a cashier. The only time it really bothered me was when I was shopping. It was a bit before Thanksgiving and the woman in front of me had her cart full to overflowing. I should’ve moved to a different line, but it was just her and the other lines were all longer. So the cashier is scanning and the bagging area is filling up. The poor bagger was very old and not moving too well, but she was trying. The customer was yacking on her phone and had no clue that there were about 10 bags already piled in the bagging area and the bagger could only put them in the cart one at a time and very slowly. I was so close to telling her to get off her d*** phone and put her bags in the cart so we could get moving.

I am happy if they are on the phone, less small talk for me!!

Well mom and I are off to see Papa again at the hospital. He had shortness of breath and he is swollen in areas and has some fluid around the heart. He seemed ok, said HI LINDSEY!!! when we got there. For some reason I had a flash back when Grandma didn’t know me and I was feeling really gloomy until he said hi to me…it was weird and scary. But as soon as he greeted me I was ok,

Glad he is well enough to talk and see visitors – hopefully they can fix up his heart problem and have him back home soon.

Even if you’re not technically customer service, people manage to force you to be and they still suck. My last job was doing office work at a university, which was generally nifty, I got to know some honest to goodness former astronauts and rockets scientists. Anyway, my job was essentially as far from customer serive as you could get, I order supplies, stocked the supply closet, liased with xerox for the copiers, data entry, filling out requisitions and travel reimbursement paper works, blah blah blah. BUT somehow, I ended up with the phone number of someone who had stopped working there several months ago, but still got tons of phone call asking for him. And this guy had worked in a completely different department, which at a big school means a different building, completely different staff, etc. Most people were fine when I said this was no longer his number, some people wanted to know who they should talk to instead, but when I told them this was a different department, were fine and hung up, I suggested the online directory and most were pretty grateful. But this one guy called and after I go through the whole deal, this is no longer his number, this number is now a different department, and so on, insisted that I transfer the call, which I informed him I couldn’t actually do outside the department I worked in (I was too low ranking to have much in the way of phone privileges and well answering phones and being switchboard operator wasn’t even sort of my job in the first place, lol), then he wanted me to direct him the the ‘main switchboard’, which doesn’t exist, I volunteered to direct him to the online directory so he could figure out who he needed and he just started screaming at me about how I wasn’t being helpful and I was terrible at my job, there was some cursing involved, and holy cow was it just a mess. I eventually hung up on him. And in my previous job I was a student employee at the university study abroad office and I won’t even attempt to repeat some of the things that the parents of students who weren’t responsible enough to get stuff turned in on time would say to me. Let’s just say it would make the stereotypical drunken sailor blush. It’s a good thing I have super human control over my rather short temper sometimes.

Forget training people for customer service, people should have to have training to be customers.

It’s 5:18 am and I have yet to fall asleep. The mind keeps going and going, like the energizer bunny! Ha! I’m to a point of delirium!

Poor dad! But I’m sure you are taking good care of him! Is he getting plenty of grandbunny love?

Wedding plans are finally coming along. I have the hall, minister and DJ booked. I had a busy day yesterday! It’s turning out to be a much more expensive and bigger wedding than originally planned. I only wanted about 50 people but that’s turned into like a 100. Oh, well. I’m only getting married once! Ricky says no bunnies in the wedding. Olivia would probably steal the show from her Momma anyways.

I usually listen to music while the buns are out and I recently started listening to a lot of 80’s stuff and discovered Olivia loves the song “Africa” by Toto. She does like super high binkies and popcorn hops when it’s playing. Bindi likes Weird Al’s song “Hey Ricky”. Stormy doesn’t seem to have much preference for any songs yet.

Aw the bunnies would cute in dresses and tuxedos helping to be the bridesmaids and such ! Glad you have some of the big stuff away now though.

If I ever get married – it’s going to be a tiny wedding, only people I actually know will be invited with a +1… probably no animals cause they would freak out with strangers. Though maybe if I get a dog before then they can be in it since dogs are not as scared as prey animals.

DH and I joked about including Otto in our wedding, but he would’ve been completely overwhelmed and freaked out! Definitely not a good idea for him. I wouldn’t do a dog either (if I had one) because it was a long day and I think most dogs would be overwhelmed too.

Our wedding was 80-90 people (I can’t remember the exact number right now) and it was the best. It was almost all friends (from work, college, and HS – most of which are mutual friends for DH and I, except for my HS friends) and a couple relatives (we don’t have big families). It was just a big party! I didn’t like planning it, but I’d like to live that night again.

i had my friend on the payroll this spring for $25/hr,, he didn’t want to relocate to AZ though, so now i ‘m back to 55-60 hour work weeks and xmas is still 4 months away…

I always joked about Stormy being my ring-bearer- One ring on each ear and someone would carry him down the aisle on a satin pillow. But while I would like some pictures of me and them on my wedding day I wouldn’t actually have them as part of the ceremony because it would just add to the stress. My bunnies would not be happy campers.

Chacha- Did you see in Rabbits USA a few years back about the girl who did that? She had her bunny in a stroller wheeled down the aisle! People think I’m bunny crazy enough…better not go there.

Closing on our house today!! We’re heading over there for a walkthrough at noon (leaving work in 5 min) then doing the closing at 1:30 at the attorney’s office. I’m so nervous and excited!!

My main source of nerves is that we still don’t have the final closing costs. Grrr. We know that they overestimated it by $1500 or so (those were fees we already paid, but were included in the official documents anyway) which gives us a cushion, but we don’t have that much money in our checking account right now so I’m really hoping they overestimated!

On another note, I got a job in our ER as an RN. So excited! I feel very lucky since a lot of new grads are having a lot of trouble getting jobs, even in the healthcare field. Looking forward to starting my new career.

Oh no!  That sounds painful!  I guess vibes to pretty everyone’s families right now, sheesh!

I am excited, my boyfriend will be here tomorrow! Yay! I haven’t seen him (except over skype) in a month and half!  Lol, after living together for two years and not having been apart for more than a day in that time it hasn’t been the most fun month and a half of adjustment, but he’ll be here for a whole week    The bunnies are happy too, they miss having two people to beg for papaya bites. 

I really like the hippie bunny annie’s mac and cheese, I think it’s parmesan, with some pan fried tofu, garlic, a dash of nutmeg and green onions. My boyfriend likes to laugh at my gourmet preparation of boxed mac and cheese but I like it. Nom nom nom nom.

KateMonster, I’m sure you’re excited! I was in a long distance relationship for a while and it’s so exciting to see them after you’ve been apart for so long.

Closing went well! We have a house now! We went there last night and hung out with some friends, ate at a local Chinese restaurant (not nearly as good as the one by our townhouse 🙁 ) and wandered around the property down to the rail trail (which is awesome – it has a sand lane for walking and running that is as wide as the paved section).

Brit, you do get an estimate of closing costs when you apply for the loan, but it can all change by a bit right at the end as they calculate lawyer’s fees and things. We ended up getting a lot of credits for fees we had already paid or the bank agreed to waive, so that lowered it from the estimate. Overall it was about what we expected. Though there was some disappointment when it was really low and we wrote the check – as we were getting up to leave the title lady said we actually owed $500 more. Wahh!

Tonight we’re having a bunch of friends over for a happy hour 🙂 So far we’re moving things little by little – the house is close to work so it’s easy enough to pack up our cars before work and drop things off at the house after work. Next Wednesday we have movers coming to get our furniture and other big things.

Finally moved in to my new place in the new city! I’ve been on a crazy travel trip all summer, so I haven’t been around a lot…but now that school is starting soon I’ll need plenty of distractions and excuses not to study . I’m so nervous but so excited!!

I’m doing a clay facial right now, so picture the wicked witch of the west…. Good thing bf is all wrapped in video games and isn’t looking hahaha.

We’re officially moved into the new house! Yesterday was a super long day of moving (the movers worked from 9-5 just to move our furniture – we did everything else ourselves). I’m exhausted and wish I wasn’t at work today.

The bunnies moved in on Tuesday night and spent the night alone (we slept there last night for the first time). I decided that this was ultimately easier because they would’ve been in the middle of things when the movers were there and it would’ve been hard to get them packed up in the chaos. So far they loooove the new house! They have the same cage + pen they had before and it’s in the dining room, but they really have the whole room because we probably won’t put a table in there since the kitchen dining area is plenty large for us. They’re right next to the living room where our tv is and it’s wall-to-wall carpet so they’re in heaven. So far I haven’t blocked off behind the couch because the only wire is the floor lamp which is covered, so they’ve had a blast running behind the couch like it’s a tunnel. Once we set up the surround sound speakers I’ll have to block it off again, but they can have their fun for now. I can barely get them back in their cage because they have so much fun running around the living room. I’ll have to kick them out of there so I can paint some time – the room is bright yellow (it was previously a playroom) with purple trim. The yellow is going to give me nightmares! I was going to wait a few weeks to paint, but I’m not sure I can deal with it that long.

Hannah has started looking across the foyer to the carpeted stairs, which worries me. I’m afraid she’ll get over there and I’ll never get her out of the carpeted second floor. lol For now I’m not blocking off the stairs, but if she figures them out I might have to.

I’m glad to hear the buns are enjoying the new house. Can’t wait to see pictures (hint hint). Hannah will probably eventually attempt the stairs. Stormy zooms up and down them when he gets the chance. We have like 10 stairs leading to the basement…it’s so hilarious how fast he can go up and down. He looks so tiny on the stairs. They’re usually blocked off as a no-bunny zone but sometimes he outsmarts me.

Ugh, the bunnies are already developing bad habits at the new house! At the old house they were so good about going back to their cage when it was time for us to leave for work. Now, they just lay all sprawled out in the living room glaring at us when we call them over to the cage. lol Jerks. I think we’re going to withhold their breakfast until it’s time to go because that will bring them running (that’s what we do at night – in the morning we usually feed them right away and they come out to run around when they’re done). They’re such stinky little butts though – think they own the new place and don’t have to listen to us anymore.

Hannah’s going to be very sad when we block off the couch! DH is going to set up our surround sound this weekend and it involves a sub woofer and two back speakers that will connect with wires behind the couch (at least it communicates with the tv wirelessly, so there aren’t any wires running from the tv to the couch area). Once that’s set up we’ll block off the couch and Hannah won’t be able to use it as a tunnel. She won’t be happy! Last night she was doing zoomies through the living room and back behind the couch. At one point she ran right over Otto and he looked so confused about what had hit him going 20mph. haha

eta: Oh, I forgot to add that the most annoying thing in our new house is this stupid fly that we can’t get rid of. It came in when the movers had the doors open and it’s been there for a couple days. The thing is fast and we can’t kill it or herd it out the open door. Last night it kept landing on me while I was lying on the couch. This morning it wouldn’t leave the bunnies alone and kept landing on them while they were eating  I kept shooing it away and it would come right back. Poor bunnies! (they didn’t seem to notice it at all though) I definitely need to get a fly swatter or something, because this fly needs to go. It’s tricky because our ceilings are so high that he can easily fly out of reach. We told Hannah that she gets a prize of all the craisins she can eat if she can get rid of it today.

Yeah … I should probably get some of that. We tried filling a glass with apple juice, covering it in cling wrap, and poking a hole in the top. I hope the fly finds it and flies in!

I have found that an accidentally left open open bottle of vermouth is an excellent way to attract and drown flies, especially fruit flies but I bet it would work with a house fly too. Unfortunately, I had been looking to make martinis with my vermouth, not kill flies. Ah well.

Yay for lazy Sundays! What’s a kettleball? I don’t think I’ve heard of it before…though I’m definitely due for some exercise, heh.

School is slowly ramping up…anatomy is starting next week and I have mixed feelings about dissections…

Lol KateMonster. The fly didn’t find the apple juice, but I did whack him with a phone book (got lots of those around for Hannah). I didn’t think I killed him (I just hit him mid-flight) but I haven’t seen him again.

Ok, pictures of the new house are up on FB! I’ll have to resize them in order to load on BB and I’m too lazy for that right now, but at least anyone who’s FB friends with me can check it out.

Thanks, Peppypoo! The patio is hands down my favorite part of this house. I’ve spent at least some part of every day sitting out there on our new adirondack chairs 🙂 The front porch will be nice when it’s raining, so I need to get some rocking chairs or something.

It’s going to be 90 in Pullman tomorrow! Boo hiss. The bunnies just lay stretched out next to their frozen water bottes all day long. I have 8 frozen water bottles in rotation right now… 8!!! Fievel also likes to sit in front of the fan and let it blow on his face. His ears flap in the wind. Lol.

It’s going to be 90 in Pullman tomorrow! Boo hiss. The bunnies just lay stretched out next to their frozen water bottes all day long. I have 8 frozen water bottles in rotation right now… 8!!! Fievel also likes to sit in front of the fan and let it blow on his face. His ears flap in the wind. Lol.

Can’t wait till tomorrow (tuesday) is over. Last day
of work before my weekend (have wed & thurs off). Been on since Thursday which wouldn’t be a problem had I not picked up overtime. I am tired! Hoping to take Harry to the dog park on Wednesday and hit the market for veggies for Arthur boy. Have to register my daughter for highschool too. Ugh. Getting a bit close. School starts the 30th (I think).

Last night we went to bed around 10:15. At 10:45 I woke up because DH got up to use the bathroom and then we heard howling. We have coyotes! I’ve seen coyotes living in CT and I know they’re everywhere, but I’ve never heard them before. It was creepy! DH was freaked out and ran down to shut the living room window (as if the coyotes were going to break through the screen to get into our house). The bunnies didn’t seem to care.

I just got to call Dr. Harvey’s office for the company I work with! She was in with a little patient though, so couldn’t speak with her yet Hopefully she calls me back

One of my friends just met my Peppy and Milo…the first thing she said was “omg, they’re so big!” Does anybody else get this a lot? Peppy and Milo are about 5 lbs each, so they’re hardly big bunnies (not dwarfs either), but everybody always remarks on how big they are. Should get a flemish giant and show them what a big bunny is like, hehe. I think the thing is that most people’s idea of bunnies are the teeny tiny babies, so adults look huge to them.

Not a lot of people say mine are all that big, at three pounds, they really aren’t by anyone’s measure. But I do recall my mom saying ‘they’re bigger than I thought they’d be.’

Peppypoo, nobody has ever thought Otto was big (he’s 4lbs and looks very compact) but everybody comments on how huge Hannah is in comparison. At 5.5lbs I guess she is a bit bigger than him percentage-wise, but she’s still only 5.5lbs! Everyone thinks she’s huge though.

Haha well I call Fievel a “buffalo”… He’s a very hefty 3 lbs. But that’s much bigger than V who is almost 2 lbs!

Chacha, I haven’t done any Jillian Michaels workouts but I hear they are beastly! I did the stairclimber at the gym on Thursday… My femurs and definitely still fractured. Haha OUCH.

I’ve done Jillian Michaels and like the intensity, but she, and lots of other of those exercise video types, sort of annoys the poop out of me. Usually it’s because they’re just so chipper that I want to throw something at them, Jillian Michaels not so much on that, I think I just get annoyed at certain styles of encouragement, I prefer they keep it mostly to explainations and tone down to motivational speaking. My personal favorite is Patricia Moreno (at least kickboxing, but that tends to be my thing).

Hey everyone! I haven’t been on much because my computer was having problems, but I’m back!
Classes started last week. I am taking 17 hours this semester (Technology in the Classroom, Child and Adolescent Psych, Watercolor 1, Sculpture 2, French 2). I am excited but already worn out after just one week. That is mostly from work though, since all the college kids are back in town, we cant keep the food on the shelves. Every night has been more work than our crew can handle, even when working like we are on crack. I might be getting another job though! It is in the Visual Resource Library on campus (its where the art books are). It would be a really easy job and one that I have wanted for 3 years now. The director is going to talk to her boss and see if she can hire on another person, if so, Im it! My hopes aren’t too high but I want it so much, everyone send some vibes for me please!!!

Huckleberry is being antisocial. She is super flirty when my brother comes over, she loves her Uncle Tony, but she wants nothing to do with me. I guess its because we havent had much of our late night Simpson’s marathon/cuddle time like we used to. Ill have to buy her some super special veggies to win her over.
Does anyone have an atomic clock? This thing is driving me nuts. I got home from work this morning and it read 7:48, which was probably the right time… but it stayed there until 5 min ago when it suddenly just moved to 5:20, which is now the right time. However, as I was typing, the hands started spinning over the face very fast. Its traveling through time!!!!! I need a clock that gives me the right time, you know at least more than twice a day.

I got an email about 20 min after my last post that said I got the job! Im so excited! I am waiting on my new boss right now and eating breakfast. The milk went bad at home so I had to take my breakfast to go and swing by the gas station to pick some up. The job should be really easy, ill just check out books and cameras, help students with the computers and photoshop, operate a really large printer and run a few errands. On my down time, I get to do whatever I want (homework).

Thanks! It was great! I know a lot about the computers in there already because I use them so much and most of the students arent really comfortable with macs and photoshop, so I get to show a lot of people how to work with them. I feel smart haha. My boss kept telling me that I had already made her life much easier because she could come and go from the library and not worry about anything. I am really happy!

Brittany, that’s great that you at least had a video camera to back you up! I could imagine it being a lot more of a hassle if it was just your word against hers.

So I just found out that Milo likes….beer! My boyfriend was having some, and Milo ran over and licked my boyfriend’s lips . He let Milo smell the bottle, and Milo tried to lick the rim/get inside. Silly bunny boy, he likes beer more than I do…

Thats is one thing I like about ym new job, the set hours. Monday to Friday, 7 to 3:30, although I can leave early if we meet daily goals

Brittany, I think it is insane that customers are telling your boss that. You have every right to be tired, its not like youre saying something out of line, im pretty sure that the majority of people have felt tired at some point in their lives! How silly! People, ugh.

Im having problems with flies too… my problem is that they are coming back to life!!!!!! I sat and watched one that I thought was dead shake back awake and walk around, I killed him and got off my butt and took him to the toilet. I guess he wasnt as dead as he looked.

I had the worst dream last night. I dreamt that I told bf that I wanted him to be with someone else, then when I caught him, I was happy about it and then left him. How messed up is that? I feel horrible about it. I love him dearly, I know I would crumble if we were unable to stay together. I dont know what my brain was thinking!!!
