Coconut escaped out of my room this morning  and into the hallway.  Pepper and Sugar were out as well. One of them bit his little nose and it was bleeding.   I did a search on here that I can put neosporin on? He was startled but seemed ok and eating after a while. Do I need to take him in to the vet?

Aw poor bub! It’s probably fine to just apply the cream and monitor the bite to check it’s healing ok.
You can always give your vets office a bell if you want further reassurance.

Poor little guy! I’m sure he’ll be ok – you can use some of the neosporin without pain relief. Keep an eye on it and call your vet if it looks worse.

Neosporin is fine, without the added pain meds.

Do you know how they escaped? You may want to reinforce some living spaces

                  Thanks Elrohwen and Monkeybun!

I do know how Coconut escaped. It was totally my fault for being in a rush this morning and not making sure the gate and door to my room didn’t have a gap. The hallway gate was up but either Pepper or Sugar was still able to bite his nose through the gate. Sooo upsetting!

I went home to check on him at lunch. He seems ok. the blood dried up so it doesn’t look AS BAD!

Thank goodness he wasn’t injured worse. Two bunnies could have really done some damage. I’m glad he’s okay.

I know LittlePuffyTail! I just wish they’d all get along! Coconut was still so anxious to get out of the blocked areas this morning! I guess the nose bite didn’t scare him! His little nose looks MUCH better this morning…thank goodness!!
