Well ideally you should seperate them when you do clicker training and work with just one at a time. But my two refuse to be seperated, especially Kate. Whenever I take Spence away for toe nail trims, she sits in the living room and thumps, which of course makes him nervous. And when I take Kate away she freaks out and tries to climb up me to sit on my head, which makes me concerned for the safety of my eye balls, so… that doesn’t work for me. But I did manage to teach them ‘come’ and ‘up’ (periscope) on command pretty well working with both of them. I clicked with my toe so I could use both hands to treat. Probably this works for me because they are both extremely food motivated so they learned at about the same rate. Doing it that way, you probably are limited to somewhat simpler things and those that don’t involve using your hands for anything for treating. When I started, others suggested using two different sounds, one for each bunny, but mine have such a tendency to follow each other around that I’d probably just train them both to recognize two different sounds. I hope some of those thoughts and suggestions are helpful! Good luck, it is fun. Once we started doing this, the instant I would sit down where we did the training or I grabbed the clicker they would run up to me and starting periscoping over and over, it was really cute. Moving put us off the routine a little, but I hope to get back into it soon.
