So right now Im working on teaching them to come up in my lap and put their paws on my shouder (aka a hug
) so far its going really well, I say mommy hug? and sophie jumps right up on my lap and has started doing it on her own, Cady has caught on a bit but still grudgingly does it if a craisin is involved. Just excited about my little monsters learning something new! -
Congrats! That sounds so cute! How are you going about teaching them? I keep thinking I ought to get a clicker training book for Hodari. She likes to plan out how she’s going to run through the obstacle courses which I set up for her every few hours in different configurations. It helps keep her active and stimulated, but I think she’d enjoy learning some tricks too. That’s great that Sophie picked up on “mommy hugs” so quickly and likes to give them! What a sweetheart! I guess Cady just doesn’t like to feel manipulated.
