I am home from work again today due to stupid pain.  I have got to get this under control.   So besides exercising and doing the yoga, I’m looking into getting massages and acupuncture. But have questions on acupuncture.

I went to the chiropractor last fall as a last resort before opting for surgery.  And she couldn’t even do a normal adjustment on me because it caused me too much pain.  So if acupuncture may not work or it’s something I’ll have to get done all the time, then I don’t know that would be the best option for me due to finances.

Has anyone had acupuncture done for any reason?  Did you get long term results?

I had acupuncture when I sprained my ankle. Since a sprain is pretty temporary I can’t speak much for your long term situation, but it did help ease the pain. The needles affect a chain of nerves so it helps with pain. My parents also get acupuncture fairly often.

I’ve never had it done but I know a few ppl who have and supposedly got great results – they were cured. They were for neck pain, insomnia, and joint pain.
