so some background info on our situation.  we have Dashwho  is about  1 maybe a little older. he is nuetered. he has free run of the spare bedroom and has a cage with his litter box and food and water.  we brought home our new girl about 3 weeks ago.she is spayed and about the same age we put her cage in his room so they could get used to each before we started bonding.  so we have been working on bonding for about a week now.  and ever since we started working on the bonding when i get up in the morning i find about 20-30 pellets all around and near her cage and several spots where he has peed. any idea on how long before he stops with the marking? last night i put a pen around his cage with a tarp under and he even pooped and peed all over that around the edges. he is also still a humpy during bonding sessions which is still causing a little friction between but its getting better and we have even seen some grooming the past two sessions. sometimes i wonder if he is actually neutered!

The marking will stop when they are bonded, in the meantime be sure to clean up with vinegar.
