  I had to read on Youtube what had happened. It really angers me that people would really do that to someone’s beloved pet :/ I also read from the comments (I’m not sure how accurate the comments are) and that the homeless man was offered a job on a farm!

  Britt, I just found a newspaper article that said he was, in fact, offered a job at a farm.
  
  What a horrible thing! I feel so bad for the homeless guy and his rabbit and I’m glad the kid who did it is going to court.

  I bet they just get a fine but lately they have been putting restrictions on people owning animals if they have been convicted of animal cruelty. I’m surprised the rabbit didn’t have a heart attack

  I saw this at Rabbits United last night while I was browsing their site. Both myself and my daughter had some choice words for the perp. Let’s hope he gets more than a slap on the wrist and a “Bad boy…don’t do that again…”
  More than one person on RU wondered how the homeless man transported his bun with him where he went? Does the rabbit just follow along or is he carried in a box?
  I didn’t realize there was a video attached to the story. 0_o
