My bunny ponyo is extremely good at peeing in her litter box. She has never really had problems… when my boyfriend came into town after two weeks she seemed to love him. She follows him around and loves to lick his face. Today his bag was on the floor which it has been for about 2 days now and has been two weeks ago when he came to visit and she was there but instead today she peed and pooped all over the bag.. I’ve never seen this kind of behavior and her litter box was about 2 feet away… It could be territorial I guess but should it be something I worry about? She’s never had any other kind of accident!

          It is hormonal.

Yep, sounds hormonal. Some bunnies just like to mark new things in their space and a hormonal bunny is going to do that much more often.

When I brought my male bun home the first time he was great with his litter … after a few days, he began marking the boyfriends area, I ended up having to baby gate off his computer space because if the bun gets in there he immediately marks it as his. Some bunnies just mark things. : )

Well, it’s not really his stuff. It’s HER stuff.

                And now you know.

(Territorial marking I’m afraid. One visit, he’s a guest. Second time, she’s taken posession. Spaying will help.)
