No…NO…Not MARYANN! ANYTHING but Maryann! 0_o *shivers*
Certainly when she turns and looks at me and pees, it’s intentional. I have had times when I cleaned her habitat and found she’d already peed the bed or the hay without seeing me first. I’m doing my best to get us all back on schedule again. It seems to be helping today at least…everything dry and not so much stinkeye.
I also make sure I clean my hands thoroughly before touching her stuff. I probably smell too much like Jenna at least, since she sleeps with me.
I also forgot to mention that I’ve been giving her dandelion, which has some diuretic properties. But I’ve stopped giving them to her for now. We’ll see if that may be it.
Since Mimzy lives right below her, and he is not 100%…perhaps she senses his distress or discomfort and this is upsetting her? Or she might just be able to smell his pee accidents and thinks she has to compensate?
Otherwise. Meh, she’s a diva. I suppose it could be all attitude. I did try taking out her bedding, she just peed on her hay. I’ll have to find an indestructible basket for that though. And she doesn’t like not being on something soft, because she has trouble walking on the plastic bottom of her pen or the linoleum.
If I put cardboard in there, she’ll just tear it up.
I noticed she is about to go through another big shed (our temps here have been hardly stable…boiling hot one minute and cold winds and thunderstorms the next, although the noise doesn’t seem to bother her) so maybe she’s peevish on top of that.
