so we’ve been working with Cady and Sophie daily and I feel like things have been going well…Im just curious how I get him to stop humping?? they have no aggressive behavior, they lay together without being forced, theres quite a bit of mutual grooming… the main problem is cady is a humpaholic!  she doesnt get angry or flick or anything sometimes she’ll even just lay there, she actually runs away and binkys….does anyone have any advice? and how do I know when I sould completely move sophie in?  shes paid some visits into my room and he hasnt been territorial what so ever! willing to take any advice….

Let him hump her. Just make sure he’s humping her, eh.. “properly”… No butt to face moments. Haha. This will help them determine their “hierarchy” and it’s beneficial for them.
Here’s a cool bonding guide from SaveABunny (have I given you this? I’ve been showing it to a lot of people.. ) http://www.saveabunny.org/rabbitcare/bonding-guide Skip past the “choosing the mate” part, because that’s done.
As for when Sophie can move in.. Not sure exactly, but you will want to be able to leave them alone for a few hours a time with minimal supervision (you’re there, but not necessarily hovering over them). You will want to do this a few times before moving them in.

Yep, humping is ok as long as it’s not the face and the humpee is ok with it. Otto got very frantic when Hannah would hump him, so I tried to keep her from doing it most of the time. For a pair that doesn’t mind it isn’t a problem – just stop it if it seems to be going on too long.

I also agree that you can move them in when they can safely be together for a number of hours without issues. I was doing 4 hour sessions where I felt comfortable going to the bathroom or reading a book nearby. Even after that there was some tussling, but I had a good foundation to make me confident that they would work it out.

Thanks for the links and info!  so the Humping seemed to have lessened very slightly and sophie will run away but se usually binkys when she does, other times she just takes it….I feel like I got very lucky, I expected this to be way more difficult, Im up to the point where I can sit and watch tv while they run around!
