Mine goes off at 8am every morning. It consists of Powder jumping onto my bed and hopping around me until I wake up and pet him. If I don’t wake up and pet him, I get either bunny paws to the face or he jumps onto my pillow and begins licking until the scrape of his tongue on my pillow is so annoying I wake up and pet him. Then he jumps down off the bed and runs around asking me to play the chase game… (the chase game is where I jog across the house and he chases me, when I reach the end I turn around and do it again, rinse repeat until he is too tired and flops). If all of this fails to wake me up, he jumps down and runs into the birds room and starts making a ruckus until the bird wakes up, which makes the bird start singing and asking to be let out. I wish he understood the concept of sleeping in.

Chacha is in her condo when I’m sleeping.. so no alarm clock here

When she was in my room at the other house that I lived at, she was waking me up at 5 am lol.

About 3.30-4am Jersey and Rumball seem to be on the move looking for noms. Funnily, the younger boys that are actually in the bedroom don’t disturb me as early as that. I quite like hearing the sound of hay been eaten. There is some wire chewing and bunny 500s at dawn though. Sometimes it’s stick chewing and cardboard box ripping. Note to self: remove potentially noisy items before retiring to bed.

Fiver seems to enjoy taking cat naps and never officially sleeping, so my furry alarm clock goes off at least 4 times a night. He’s like an infant!

As early as 4am and as “late” as 6am the bunny 500s start. If kept locked in their condo, it’s hop hop hop up and down the levels with the occasional nail tap/scrape and bodies slamming against the floor/walls due to wipe-outs from chasing.

Hehe oh, I am glad I am a sound sleeper… mines bunny 500s don’t wake me up. The cardboard chewing sometimes. I guess that is why he likes to jump on my face to get my attention.

My buns alarm clock goes off like from 4-7am. It consists of Cheddar flipping his metal pellet dishes attached to the cage up and down with his huge head. When I have trouble sleeping, I just hear that metal flipping sound. It’s so funny. It means he wants out or is hungry.

I’m so jealous of how playful your bun is.

7:20am every morning a lot of cage rattling for breakfast. When Daylight Savings Time changes, I only get one day of a changed alarm clock and then my intelligent rabbit reprograms herself and it is back to 7:20am.

It is opposite around here I have to drag their butts out of their comas when it is time to get up.

Every now and then I will wake up to the breath being knocked out of me by Pacey thumping on my chest at 5am.

lol smart Pacey, that is how to wake someone up for sure!

Cheddar, eh, don’t let him fool you. He sleeps for about 5 hours, gets up and runs around for a few minutes, sleeps for another couple of hours… he’s a lazy butt my girl on the other hand sleeps at night and not much during the day, but they aren’t bonded so she isn’t in the bedroom and has her own room so I don’t hear her when she gets up. She sleeps in her own little chair, I call it the Queen’s throne because she is so much a little diva sometimes.

The buns don’t have free range, and are in a different room than my bedroom, so I don’t have an alarm clock Yet, anyway. Maybe when the boys bond….

Lolli doesn’t require my attention 24/7. Unlike Eddie. Who would generally make a ruckus until I yelled at him that I was up and then he’d promptly go lay down for a nap. Lolli definitely has her schedule and is used to mine and is always waiting for me. But she doesn’t get obnoxious about it. lol

My two sleep downstairs while we sleep upstairs. The few times they’ve been in our room they’ve woken up at 5:30. Not fun! I already get up by 6:30 on weekdays, but 5:30 is much rougher.

I like having them downstairs so I can get up whenever I want 🙂 DH is still usually up by 7:00 on weekends, so it’s not like they’re deprived.

Peppy ‘goes off’ about four am, throwing her rattle around and chewing the cage bars. She’s not even in my room and I can hear her. I don’t know how my daughter sleeps through it all.

Mine doesn’t go off. And I seem to be the only person who sleeps regularly with my bun! The lazy cunka rabbit is stil sleeping until I get up to go to the bathroom in the morning. Then he asks for love before I put him on the floor. I guess he knows if he pokes the sleeping bear the bear will poke back! Speaking of sleeping… He is snoring next to me.

Mimzy has recently begun tossing his litter pan and gnawing bars from 5-8 AM, when he used to be quiet for this time until I get up somewhere around 11AM to 12 PM (I’m an insomniac like my daughter and don’t get to sleep sometimes till after 4 AM).
Pip will also (along with Mimzy) being tossing things and thumping if I don’t get the light off at night at what they deem is a decent hour. I know when it’s time to turn lights off then too, so I (and the bunnies) get enough sleep.
If you don’t have your bunnies in your bedroom, I don’t suggest you put them there…it is disruptive not only for you, but for them as well. Sure it’s great to be able to see them right there first thing and last thing in a day, but it can also strain all parties involved. Bunnies tend to misbehave more when they are requiring more routine in their day.
In the winter, when we have almost 24 hours darkness, the activity of all three of my bunnies is noticeably reduced. With solstice behind us now, the daylight won’t stream in so early and they’ll begin to wake later unless I get up and put a light on for them.
Ever since we moved here, I’ve wanted one of those ‘daylight simulation lamps’ that act like a rising and setting sun, and then wanted to set up a room for the bunnies with such a light after I realized how important regular daylight is to them. Unfortunately, I don’t have that kind of money, but if I ever did they’d get a royally constructed playroom with such luxuries. And I’d probably get more regular sleep….wait…strike that…forgot about the wee doggie. >.<
She now gets me up after the bunnies start thrashing because she wants her crunchies early. 0_o
Maybe I could look into a nice, padded room for me instead? ~_~

Attack of the bunny begins promptly at 6am at my house.  this involves cady sprinting around my room, jumping on my bed and on me until I wake up, and if this trick doesnt work then he goes into bad bunny mode and starts digging at my bed skirt and making as much noise as possible, my little fatty loves his breakfast! sophie hasnt moved in my room yet but when I go to feed her shes always wide awake and beyond excited to know shes getting breakfast,  after that I attempt to go back to sleep if they allow it.

this is part of bunny noise making 101

My girl is always waiting for her morning salad though when I get up! Powder couldn’t care less about morning breakfast, he just wants his morning run and then to go sleep until about 5pm…

about 5am most mornings which is perfect because that’s when i get up during the week. peepi scratches at the door until it opens and then just sits there, watching and waiting. he really is the best alarm clock, i always get up so much faster and easier when he comes to get me.
the past couple days he hasn’t come to wake me up and coincidentally i’ve been late to work both those days! hehe
