Link is now chasing Navi nearly every chance he gets, and she wigs out! She jumps up and runs around and generally acts terrified.

She sometimes boxes back, but mostly runs away. It happens enough that she tries to chew a hole in their pen in order to get out and away from him.

        HELP!

I guess the first question is has anything changed? Any moves, anything at all?

Our move happened wayyyy back in early May. I changed their setup in the cage slightly – added a sheet the other day for Link’s comfort, because of his medical issues – but would that really make him go off like this?

ETA: He also just went off of his antibiotics on Monday after a week of them.

He could be excited. Mocha does this to Lulu once in awhile when I feed them pellets at night, then about an hour later they’re back to snuggling.

My first thought is it is more to do with his current medical issues. I don’t know really what to suggest other then do some sessions with them where you keep things pleasant and positive. Simply putting them side by side and giving lots of pets together. Help calm them both etc.

Upon further review, it seems to be Navi that’s the issue. He goes in to try to groom her as is normal, and she runs. They generally seem to be doing okay together – they’ll even eat from the same bowl – but not when he moves in to groom her.

You mentioned she might be blind didn’t you?
