The date is set; Esmerelda and Marge are getting spayed on June 16th at nine in the morning. I’m already so nervous, but I’m trying to get thing set up for them. I am going to put up a cardboard circle in my room for each bunny (where they can get total peace and quiet) for the first couple of days so they don’t have to jump in their cages any stress from the living room. . . Keep their potties clean, and I’m also going to put a frozen water bottle  in there. Any extra advice or suggestions anyone has is welcomed.

Some low-rim dishes for their food, my girl didn’t want to stand up to eat, I ended up having to hand feed and leave piles of hay/pellets on the floor beside the A/C vent. She didn’t touch her little ceramic crock for 3 days. She also refused to work to drink out of the water bottle (she really didn’t want to move at all), so I put a couple of low-rim bowls of water in her area for her. A helper for medication if they refuse to eat it off a treat might be a good idea too, it took me holding my girl and my boyfriend syringing it into her mouth for her to take her pain meds.

{{{Vibes}}} It’s scary but with a good vet it’s standard surgery and no biggie
Tips-keep FAVORITE treats on hand-just in case raisins/craisins, red cabbage-whatever it is-make sure you have it. Keep things clean as you said, and it will be over before you know it
