Forum BONDING loss of a friend – do i get him a replacement?

        Until yesterday I had 2 house bunnies – Elvis and Jess – Jess passed away yesterday and elvis is most upset about the loss of his friend and wife I know for me it is too soon to get another bunny – but what is best for elvis? do you think he will get better over time or should i look for another friend for him?…its very sad but i just want what is best for him

            I agree, don’t rush into anything. Some rabbits deal with the loss of a mate better than others, so wait and see how he does. Yo would still need to go thru a bonding process, so that may be too stressful for both of you right now. When the time is right (if that time comes), you will know.
