  today literally about 5 mins ago was my rabbits first bonding session but i cannot tell if it went well or not. they’ve lived in the same room for about 8 months now and are pretty used to each other even though ive never gotten them out at the same time. within 5 mins my femal Merry was laying on the floor soon followed by my male PJ they werent lying next to each other though? Merry also keeps doing this thing where she will folllow PJ and shove her head under his bum and she will just sit there for a while and then lay down (Still with PJs bum near her face) but then PJ will just wonder off. is this a sign of dominace from Merry its totally confused me?!

  It’s way too soon to tell at the first session whether it’s love or hate. It does sound promising though.

  Ignoring is actually a great sign. Bunnies that will lay down in the presence of each other are saying “I’m not a threat, and I don’t think you are.” Soon enough I’m sure they’ll snuggle together. If they’re close enough and in a slippery bathtub you can even push them together and pet them at the same time – they’ll learn to associate the other bunny with snuggles.
  
  It sounds like Merry is asking for grooms, though asking at the bum end isn’t going to be successful. Haha. Usually the first one to ask for grooms wants to be dominant, but eventually they’ll both demand grooms from each other.

  It’s tons better for them to be ignoring each other than fighting! However, if they continue ignoring each other each session, try moving them into a smaller space so that they have to interact with one another
