        So verizon is pretty much NOT cancelling our service. We have internet and tv with them, but where we’re moving isnt Fios ready yet (sad face!).  So we’re switching to Comcast, but Verizon refuses to cancel our service.  They say because a PPV Ufc fight is “pending”, they can’t cancel it for some reason.  Then, a chat rep told me she’d have a supervisor call me…and SHE calls me.  Really?  REALLY?!? Ugh! I hate incompetance!!

          Do you really have a PPV UFC fight pending? I hate being this way, but threaten to report them and/or to contact your lawyer. If you aren’t under contract, they cannot refuse to turn off your service. Even if you have something “pending”.

            My husband did, and they “took it off to avoid hassle” Uh, yeah. I’d avoid that hassle too. We aren’t in a contract, and even if we were, they don’t provide service where we’re moving. Ugh, some people. The sad thing is, I actually liked Verizon. But they’re customer service is crazy rude!

              Yes, they have the worst customer service. Thankfully, I like my service and don’t have to deal with them ever. lol
