This is Blu’s typical way to eat breakfast these days.  Oreo inhales her food, but Blu just takes his sweet time.  He won’t even leave his hut where he’s sleeping, he’ll grab a mouthful here and there, while keeping most of his body inside the hut. stretching just enough to grab a piece.  haha, my lazy little boy

So how lazy are YOUR buns?  And I mean your bunnies…

Very lazy! I drag them out to the living room as soon as we get home (which involves getting Otto in the maze, then carrying it to the living room because he’s afraid of the floors – when I do this, Hannah follows). They usually come out around 5:30 or 6:00, but don’t actually leave the maze until at least 8:00, sometimes 9:00. We try to get ready for bed and feed them by 9:30, so they hardly get any time to run around. They don’t mind, because they use that time to lay out in the middle of the floor and not run anywhere. lol So lazy! Lately the only binkies I get are little head shakes, following by laying back down.

Abby is really lazy. She naps in her pile of hay so when she wakes up she can eat it without getting up! LOL

Oh, I’ve also caught Otto laying down in the cage right next to the food dish so he can reach over and grab a mouthful of pellets without moving. He only does this after he’s spent 10min stuffing his face though.

She makes herself at home.. under the small dining room table. I always see her loaf when she sleeps during the day. She tends to lay out at night, when I’m at home from work . I think she is mocking me.. “You see my bellay, yeah, you do! You no can touch! Only look!”

Pacey is really lazy during the mornings he has gotten into the habit of sleeping at the bottom of my bed during the night. Every morning I wake up he is flopped over snoozing away. I wake him up so I can make the bed and he pops his head up long enough to glare at me and flops back over. So far the only way to get him up is to manually remove him from the bed. Then he gets in the hammock closest to the food bowl and sticks only his head out to get bites if he can’t reach it he won’t move he just goes to sleep hanging half out of the thing lol. He acts more like one of my lazy dogs than a rabbit lol. But once he is awake, up and fed he does bunny 500’s most of the day.

Dini doesn’t understand what lazy is I don’t think he ever stops moving ever.

Squirrel likes to flop and eat. He will grab hay, lay down to eat it, then stretch his head out while laying down to grab another piece.

He’s also a lazy bunstruction worker. He had this little cardboard box we had used as his potty the first few days, as he couldn’t quite figure out how to jump into the bigger plastic litter box. So he’d flop beside it, and try to figure out how to chew on the corners while being flopped. Once, he even used a back foot to hold it down while flopped to chew at it.

Peppy used to flop right next to the food bowl too so that she could eat while laying down, haha.

Tammo was the laziest bunny I’ve ever seen…he seriously never did anything. He wasn’t even destructive; we could leave him out when we left the house in the morning, and when we came back in the evening he hadn’t budged at all. I even set up little bunny traps to see if he had left and come back, but nope…he loafed in the same place for hours on end.

Maddie is the laziest bunny I have ever had. Before she had Minnie she would literally lay down all day only getting up to eat, drink, use the litter pan and ocassionally run through her jelly fish toy. Now that she has Minnie she will follow her around. Play with some of the toys Minnie plays with and is more active but still pretty lazy.
Minnie on the other hand is hyper. She is always digging, tossing something, running around etc. Most hyper bun I have ever had.

Lolli’s pretty lazy. I watched her flopped out, stretching to eat some hay one time. She generally doesn’t move very much. She was more active when Eddie was alive cause he was always making the rounds of the apartment every couple of hours. So she followed him everywhere. Now she just sleeps and loafs. lol

Oreo also flops next to her food so she can lay down and eat. Just the other day she was flopped next to a pile of spilled hay from her litter box. But there was one piece of hay she really wanted that was just out of her reach. So instead of getting up to get it, she scooched herself forward using her front paws and letting her back legs drag behind her so she could grab that one piece of hay.

She also likes to stand on one end of a really long piece of hay so the other end tips up like a see-saw. This way she doesn’t have to bend down as far to reach the hay. I’m not sure if she actually does it on purpose but it happens so often and it’s the most ridiculously lazy thing I’ve ever seen

Dutchess is usually pretty lazy, but she has her moments when she zips around at top speed. She prefers sprawling out on the couch or under a table.

                                      HAHAHAHA! Huckles does that too.

She hasn’t left her room in 2 days unless the treat bag is crinkled or we physically go get her and pull her out. She is super lazy, almost as lazy as her bun parents

Both my bunnies are always doing something! I rarely see them sleep! Their motor noses always looking for mischief and I can almost read their minds and I hear which means to pee, poop, chew, all in one word lol. That’s what me and my boyfriend say about them haha.

Spencer sometimes bathes himself from a flopped position.

OMG Cheddar is so cute! He should get the lazy bunny award!!

Olivia is lazy in the evening…she eats laying down. Either flopped on the side or in loaf position. Sometimes she will even haul her hay over to her house entrance so she can lay in bed and eat! Her Daddy always laughs when she does that. He tells her she’s gonna get a big butt doing that!
