no, HE!  HE is growing up!  (that’s taking some getting use to!)  i was grooming rue today and realized her his adult coat is starting to come in.  i’m even more confused about his color now, too.  there’s only a couple patches so far on his bum, but they seem more like the pictures i’ve seen of chinchilla colored rabbits.  so- black?  seal?  siamese sable?  who knows!  i’m going to call the vet tomorrow to see if i can push nut puppet’s neuter back a few weeks so i can take both boys in at the same time.

haha my husband asked me if i was going to introduce them now, since they are both boys. i told him i was still going to wait until after they are both neutered, and he said, “good. ’cause i know as soon as they move in together, you’ll look at that empty cage and think, ‘what i can put in there?'” after ten years, he knows me so well!

Wooly was pretty dark when he was a baby. His fur began to fill out though and as it did it started to change color as well. His main body color is black with a gray undercoat. He also has some silver “guard” hairs mixed in there. His fur was thinner when he was a baby and it appeared to be all black. I know Rue isn’t the same color, but maybe that will help you some?
