  Miles has absolutely reached sexual maturity, and I swear it happened overnight. I spend a ton of time with him every day, and he gets lots of play time out of his cage every day… We’re talking hours. So, I’m really familiar with his behavior. I noticed he’d be acting a little bratty and seemed like he was starting to forget that he can poop in the litterbox, not just pee in it (he’s not fully trained though, so I chalked it up to myself perhaps not being diligent enough?), but nothing serious.
  
  Today I came home from being away from home for about 10 hours (he was out in a safe play area all day!) and he HUMPED MY ARM! Humped it! It’s been exactly three weeks since I brought him home, so he’s about 10-11 weeks old now. Makes sense, but I can’t believe his little bunny reproduction instincts kicked in so fast! He’s been a little mad man all night, too, running around like he’s lost his marbles and constantly telescoping to find me – or more likely, my poor arm. I had to stay off the floor and well out of his jumping ability to avoid being assaulted! It’s especially interesting to me because my arms got really sunburned since I was outside at a horse show all day, so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it. Probably not, but you never know!
  
  Has anybody else had a bunny that went from a sweet baby to a bratty sex fiend overnight, or is Miles just extra special (and me extra lucky)?

  I don’t know if she changed overnight, but my friend’s bunny started humping her arm too once she reached sexual maturity. I watched your video of him looking for you and it’s absolutely hysterical. You are definitely “his”. LOL But it seems really early for hormones to be kicking in. Are you sure he’s only 10-11 weeks old?
  
  Eddie came neutered and I got Lolli spayed as soon as the vet would do it which was around 5-6 months for her. So I never had to deal with any of the lovefest stuff. lol

  I’ll never forget the night I laid down to bed, Indy jumped onto my bed and peed right on my face. He was neutered shortly after that little show! I haven’t been humped before though hehe!

  Neither of my rabbits ever humped my arm. Leopold would be crazy looking for Wooly though despite the fact that he was neutered. Wooly wasn’t at that point (this was before I had him neutered and before we started to bond them), so that’s what’s so weird about it. I always just thought it was a dominance issue that Leopold was having. But the looking around for you scenario you described is exactly how Leopold would act. I remember one time I was sitting with Wooly on the couch in the living room and my husband thought it would be funny to open the gate to the rabbit room. Leopold came out in the living room and he looked crazed as he was looking around for that “other rabbit” he smelled. Next thing I knew, he was flying up onto the couch and I had to grab Wooly and stand up with him in my arms. I about strangled my husband for that one.

  I don’t think “he’s lost his marbles”… sounds like he found them. LOL… Are “his marbles” visible yet? Pretty much as soon as they are descended, the neuter can be done.

  Spockie LuvLuvLuved his Mother (me). He had a passion for my ankles. I didn’t wear shorts for a long time. But he used to entertain himself while just sitting in his cage. I called it his “little toothpick.” When he humped my ankle, his tail spun really fast in circles, like a kids toy whirligig.
  
  An experienced vet will neuter a younger but fully matured boy bunny than one with less experience who makes you wait longer. Sounds like he is maturing a bit early, but that’s normal.

  Bahahh -I was at the receiving end of my friends rabbits -erm -affections. Well my foot was. He’d chase me around. Go bonkers if he was locked up and heard my voice (that’s the lady who lets me ‘at ‘er’ feet) -AND it was funny as he’d chase and box the boys away from me “THose are MY FEET”. Ever seen grown men run from a three pound bunny with a foot fetish? I have
