So today I got a call from the humane society that I got Emily at I have been keeping in touch with them since one of the volunteers was very close to Emily… She had three babies while there if I had not said while there. They called me because her son who she was bonding to and was pinned with is very sad since I have brought her home and is not doing his normal, nor will he bond with either of his sisters. They are willing to let me take him home and try a temporay thing but I am afraid Emily will get upset having another bunny in her cage or x-pen (even though they were very close before). I am also worried because he has super long hair  and I would have to cut it to get it into any kind of brushable shape oh he is fixed also! Should I take him and see what happens? I have been reading on bonding and will keep a close eye. Also since he is a bunny he needs access to tons of pellets as Emily can only have 1/8 cup a day! How will this work? Please help I will attach a picture if any advice on how to groom the picture was taken before I brought emily home!

          Adorable!
Just remember that a bond can take a while to establish. It might not happen in a week or two.
If you could get another xpen or cage for him, that would be ideal and the only way I would do it. You can house them next to each other this way and then Emily won’t get cranky with another bun invading her space! Feeding would be easier as well.
It is sad that he’s not a happy bun right now, but think about what is ultimately right… If you could provide different housing for him, it could work out really well, but be prepared that Emily wouldn’t be happy to share her new family.

Well, you won’t know until you try and if you are willing to try, I say give it a go. If she wasn’t upset before, perhaps she won’t be again and might welcome the company.

Well I am going to pick him up at least give him a good grooming and food and see what happens I am going to put together another x-pen today :/ means I need to go shopping I make them out of DIC cubes it works great! I just hope they bond again and quick. I would like him to be a happy bun and I need to get him litter trained so if I do not keep him in the rare chance I could find him a great home faster!

I was hoping he would at least get to come home with you and see how it works out with his mom. Good luck with them.

So we are home and Emily is exploring the house and occasionally coming up to check out the new fur ball in the x-pen she has made a few odd noises at him but I kind of expected her to do that but they have only been apart a week so I hope they get back to where they were! I was told he is angora although not sure I guess neither of the parts had long fur or either of his sisters! Who knows!?! So I will keep everyone posted and will try to link a picture of the new fuzzy man! Oh the best part he loves pets and being brushed already!!! just working on the litter box but at least he gets in and trys! I am going to be a bunny mama for a long time <3 they are amazing and so much fun!

He’s beautiful. I think he’s more of a Jersey Wooly though because he’s small. A Jersey is a mix of a Netherland/Angora (more or less).

I hope they bond quickly again as well.

So we are doing our second bonding session of the day… They are not going well there is a growl and some butting or attempts before I use the squirt bottle. They are now munching on greens in the x-pen neutral area and seem to be ok but them either or them makes this strange noise and thumps his foot! Ehh I guess we will keep trying! :/ does this sound normal?

Yes, especially for him since this is all brand new. What do you mean by butting?
