Sooo I’ve sort of been back since last weekend but then I had to go away again (seriously was home for one day!!) for work
Bleh-I was like “seriously now I’m back in a hotel room with no pets AND I have to pay to feed mysel” 
Cuba was great but I thought I’d share the high(and low!) lights
The first hiccup was we arrive at our resort-busload of other people and are TURNED AWAY because they were somehow overbooked!!
I had planned and researched big time and was crushed. We were sent to another resort which was terrible so I called the tour operator that night and just said “no” -we were there for two weeks no way we were staying. So he got us moved the next morning (so only one night in bad resort)-to a much better one -phew! One highlight was, there is nightly entertainment in the resorts and there was a magician this one night. After his show there was more stuff going on but it was packed so we headed to the small lobby bar. We saw him there and told him we loved his show. He then proceeded to do like an hour of magic tricks for JUST US!! IT was so cool-I’ve never seen magic up close and it was very fun. We then just hung out and chatted with him
I did get Dave to do Scuba but it was unimpressive compared to the other sites I’ve dove in in Cuba, but still got his feet wet and he’s considering getting certified.
We also did a speedboat/snorkel thing which was great-and these little creatures that look like beavers but don’t go in the water come out of the trees to be fed when you arrive to snorke. (you’ll have to wait for those pics they are on the underwater camera!) SO ADORABLE!
And other then that mostly beach/pool and pina coloda’s-lots of relaxing and lots of missing the fuzzy butts at home

I’m not too fond of fancy shmancy vacations where you stay in a resort and spend loads of money on foo-foo dinners and get massages all day and stuff.
lol
ok *meep* we had massages too heheeh-but Cuba is great for any type of vacation-you can stay in houses if you prefer, daytrip around and really meet the people I am just a resort girl though hehe
The thing I really like about the animals in Cuba is they aren’t scared of people-because the culture does not see them as nuisance, they aren’t chased and mistreated (at least with any regularity) so they come up to you. The cat in the buffet had no fear and was never chased out by staff-and hung around for ‘scratchies’ after she had some cheese
I’m glad you had such a good trip minus the first night’s stay. Is Dave your significant other or a family member? I’m new so don’t know who he is. He is very handsome though.
Dave’s the BF-thank you! I mention him a lot on here-usually complaining that he won’t let me have more bunnies
Ok I will post better pictures soon and of the cuban beavers as I’ve dubbed them lol-Dave is looking for a memory card reader as I speak…but for now-off to bed!

Elrohwen-The closest city to where we were (Cayo Coco then Cayo Guillermo) is Moron and it’s two hours away! So this time-nope stayed at the resort
Ok-I’m going to get the other pics up soon. I’m AGAIN not at home-now pet sitting my parents dog. I’ve had like 5 nights at home in the past like 4/5weeks…*sigh*
