So I brought DAPI home today after his neutering surgery. All the way home, he just hides in his carrier, looking very scared and trumatized.
I cleaned his cage, set up his litter box with extra hay and fresh green veggie. He goes in his cage, eats a little then just lay there. (he use to eat alot more)
after several hours of observing, he’s pooping and peeing fine. I just noticed that he has strange looking poop. Instead of the round hard looking poop, he now has ones that’s larger and more moist looking poop. kinda like what human poo looks like. He caught up one, and eats it…I read somewhere before saying rabbit has very rapid digestive system (animal plante>?), they can’t digest all their food, so they require a second digestion which requires them to eat their own poop. If they are not eating it, then something’s wrong….
He still has the round dropings, just rarly has one that isn’t. Should I be worried? It seems like he’s in a lot of pain. Just lays in his cage, not doing much. wouldn’t even come out of his cage….
