Haha! It’s funny you said that because I was brushing him some more this morning and some hair flew up into my nose. I sneezed and he jumped! He still wasn’t too happy about the brushing, but I held him afterward and he seemed to calm down. He likes it when I hold him so he can rest his chin on my shoulder. Then he got a treat when I went to put him back. And, of course, Leopold had to have one too even though I didn’t do anything to him.
I have been using a small animal slicker brush since that was what I have been using with no problems. I worry that I’m pulling his hair too much though. His fur is coming off in chunks and the fur is moving along a line from front to back. It very much reminds me of a chinchilla molting their coat. Anyway, since there is so much fur coming off at once, it is almost like a big mass that is sliding off of the hairs that are still attached. The brush doesn’t go through that stuff very easily, I don’t want to hurt him. Would you recommend the slicker brush or something else? I don’t think they make a fur rake that small.
