hehe i am so happy with nut puppet!  sure, he’s not the lop we had planned on getting, but he is turning out to be FANTASTIC!  he’s absolutely hilarious!  whoever said “big rabbits are calmer” obviously never met my nut!  the moment he’s out of the cage, he starts doing crazy flying zoomies, from one end of the house to the other.  he leaps the couch like a hurdle, climbs the cat tree, and is in to everything.  we’ve had to completely reevaluate our “rabbit proofing”, since rue is totally mellow and laid back.  puppet- not so much!  he is absolutely fearless, has made friends with my dog, and didn’t hesitate to put my cat in his place when he started getting too pushy.  he’s starting to come around and enjoy his lovin’s, too.  he lets me pet him in his cage, and on the rare times i catch him chillaxin outside his cage, he lets me love him then, too.  when he’s running amok, he’ll run up and nudge me before taking off again, or let me walk up and touch him for a couple of seconds before bolting.  just now, he jumped up on the couch beside me, sat with me for a few minutes, climbed into my lap, made himself comfortable on the laptop, gave me a few kisses, then took off again.    he’s also getting better about being picked up, as long as i move slow and carefully.  he makes me laugh, and i can’t wait until he is snipped so he and rue can bond.
