Now I understand why Kafrn sent me a phone message earlier prompting me back onto the BB boards. Lol! I’m having crappy connection probs at the moment.

But if I get onto Facebook then they’d be less time for BB! BinkyBunny is my FB. It’s about as social as I get. I hear the call for more pics of my bunnies and shall get on that I promise. As for FB….I don’t know…. I’ve never really taken the time to suss it out truthfully, despite family and friends having asked “when are you going to get on facebook”. Are you seeing a pattern?

Besides, Monkey glares and ChaCha flicks are so darn cute I might just have to stay stubborn just a liiiittle bit longer.

All kidding aside… There’s just something about that site. I don’t know…it seems less like a catch-up place and more like a total invasion of privacy.
I know they have controls for that sort of thing, but it still seems like it’s lacking true security. If I want to live like a goldfish, I’ll jut have my cat pop in on me in the loo, thanks…lmao.
Although I can remember making pages for my friends and family to view at the old Delphi.com site years ago, you had to invite people to view your pages there and it was also a lot less content. I guess my PC is just too old, I don’t know how most of you are able to download the stuff off the net that you do as it is.
Also, just watching my son use it I get the impression it’s a compulsory everyday thing to log on, or maybe just addictive… the traffic at FB is such that if you don’t check in on a daily basis, and sometimes an hourly one, people think something terrible has happened to you and the police wind up at your door to see if you still have a pulse. >.<
I love that at BB.com you still need to check in once in awhile, but you don’t HAVE to be here everyday, it’s just fun to do so.
Congrats to those of you who enjoy FB, it is just not my cup of tea. I guess I’ve become a recluse at my stage of life. 0_o

So funny you posted that MM! I was smugly going to claim “I’ll get facebook when MM does!” but then thought what happens if the FB toughies get to her?! Hope no one takes it personal – I’m just not into FB and the likes is all. MM & I are just doing our bit in keeping the universe balanced by not having FB account. Surely we’re not the only 2?! lol

FB is as public or private as you want it to be. I’m not the type that posts my deep emotional drama or every little detail about myself. And I don’t really post any pictures other than my animals.

LMAO!!!!! It truly is that bad! I dont think anyone would send the cops if I didnt check in but I feel that kind of pressure to look at it every 10 minutes. I cant help it! I have a phone app and I waste most of my phone’s battery on FB….. someone save me!!! Or better yet, just add me lol 

Agreed with the control over privacy – you can make it as public and private as you want. Another thing I love is the ability to pick what you want certain people to see. For example, I post about my bunnies all the time, but I restrict most of these bunny ramblings so that only the BB members that I have on facebook can see them; I suspect most people wouldn’t care less about the minutiae of my bunnies’ behavior, lol.
