Hi there I have three bunnies thumper a netherland ,Clyde a mini Rex and lulu a holland lop. I recently found out thumper is a boy not a girl and he was living with lulu. I got both clyde and thumper fixed but not lulu yet. The other night she started plucking her fur out and putting it in my xcloset thAt had clothes in a box in it. Early in the morning I found kits in the box of clothes so I moved them in a box in her cage. But she keeps ripping her fur out and puting it in the box of clothes in my closet. So I moved them back figuring she would feel safer having them there. Is there anyone that can help me out with this?I would be very grateful for help.

Lulu knows best in this situation Make sure she has lots of access to hay and food and water, she will need the extra food to be able to make milk for the babies. Every now and then you will need to clean the nest, just put new piles of hay in there for Lulu to sort out

hey thanks everyone yes they are three days old now and i think that means she is feeding them… i would assume anways because i took a little peek at them today and they had little fat bellies it looked like and started wining lol but were nice and warm. does anyone know if they werent being fed how long they would have to live> i really think she is doing her job but im just curious they also seem to wiggle around alot which is also a good sign

She will likely only feed them late at night, when predators wouldn’t see her going to the nest. Thats how it works int eh wild. She will only feed them once or twice a day, as long as they have nice round tummies and are warm, she’s feeding them just fine

those are her cecals, every bunny makes them. She will likely make ore right now, and she will feed those to the babies as they get older.
