        Share some stories of brattitude!!

I was asleep on the couch cushion on the floor last night.
Chacha jumps onto the cushion and licks my face, proceeds to THUMP at me, and jumps off the cushion. I roll over and face her and she is giving me the death gaze……

Run over to the diva and give pets and she’s fine

One time Poopy was on the 2nd floor of her Cottontail Cottage and I moved it with her in it because it was in the way. She came out and gave me literally 20+ consecutive DOUBLE foot thumps. That was some major disapproval.

The other night I was trying to get Abby’s attention so I pet her little lamb. She looked at me, ran over and then smacked my foot with her front paw. Then went back to doing her thing. LOL Lesson learned, don’t touch the lamb.

Lolli is not to be messed with when she’s in her box. I get growled at and sometimes batted at if I try to pet her while she’s in there. LOL

LOL Amy! Monkey used to do that when i would touch her bear. She doesn’t care about poor Bear now that she has a Smudge to snuggle with

At 2am Smokey started thumping for no reason (I thought), I take her out and try to put her on the floor and she wouldn’t. Runs back into her condo and starts thumping. I turn on the lights, thinking now that something is in my room…

To find a snail that was like 2 feet away from her pellet dish (which had no pellets and is elevated, so it couldn’t have gotten to her).

                  /sigh

I tried giving Lago and Panko cilantro before. Panko ate it happily but Lago flicked her feet at me after one bite and turned around. I don’t like cilantro and I guess Lago doesn’t either!

I was laying on the floor with Dutchess and gave her lil’ bum a tickle. She usually just turns around and gives my arm a lick to tell me to start petting her. Well this time she whirled around with a little grunt, all feet splayed out and head slightly down, like she was about to take me in a wrestling match or something! I was like . . . okay, a little touchy today. . . ^-^ I mean I know buns don’t like their bum’s touched, but she doesn’t have a problem with me touching hers, and she was the one who came over and parked her bum rather than her face towards me in the first place.

I have 5 adopted male guinea pigs before Gabby came along. I assumed she smelled them in the living room. Their cage is a cubes and coroplast cage that is two grids high so she can’t actually see them. I put 3 of the boys on the floor so I can clean that side of the cage. Gabby is doing her own thing and then one of the guinea pigs run her way and she freaked out. She thumped and then ran to the kitchen where she kept thumping as she went to hide under the table.

Another one of the pigs goes in the kitchen and she proceeds to thump in his direction until he went back in the living room. I’ve never seen her so mad and upset. After I put the pigs back in the cage Gabby came back in the living room and is chilling out on the ottoman watching tv with me.

Brittbritt – About 2 summers ago, I got two guinea pigs on a whim. Oh my God, the absolute DEATH stares I got from Eddie and Lolli for daring to bring those pig creatures into their realm were amazing. I’m surprised I’m still alive. LOL Some bunnies get along just fine with piggies. Mine were having none of it. Turns out, I’m allergic to guinea pigs and had to take them back the next day. Mine couldn’t figure out for the longest time what was in the other cage. Lolli kept coming up to check it out, but as soon as one of them moved, she thumped and ran back for under the bed. Gabby will get used to them eventually. She may not ever like them though. lol

Pip lately has taken to tossing her litterbox out of the spot it’s supposed to be in until I remove it, after which she will begin binkying back and forth in rapid succession from one side of her enclosure to the other and then jumps on and makes the bunny mattress slide across the floor like a sled and slams into the other wall. She finds this great fun, but for me it makes cleaning her habitat much more difficult. >.<
She’s also been taking drive-by nips at me as I remove stuff from her pen lately. Cheeky bub.

My biggest brat at the moment, believe it or not, is the white guy. Usually my bratty tales would consist mostly of Stormy (who is nicknamed “The Brat” ) or Miss Honky Honk Diva Pants but Bindi has been very bratty lately. Making lots of noise and mess. He likes routine and when I stray from that routine he gets impatient, goes in his litter box and digs all the litter and poop out. He spreads it all over his condo and some of it even makes it out of the room. Now that my bf is back to work I can only go see my horse in the evening so the rabbits get their run time a bit late. He does not like this. I’ve never met such an impatient little bugger in my life. He also hates waiting for food. But ya can’t get mad at that face!

Kate’s a brat to everybody, including Spencer. The other day she was in the top of the cotton tail cottage, just laying about. Spencer came inside and sat at the bottom of the ramp. She immediately took that moment to slide down the ramp on top of his head. She has also discovered a really fun, bratty little game. She jumps out of the litter box and lands with one paw in the water dish and splashes Spencer. I at first thought this was a funny accident, though a bit out of character for a normally pretty graceful bunny, but the fact that she’s now done this to him three times in the past two days, even though I’ve moved the dish, tells me it’s not in fact an accident.
They both like to run away with things, brushes, nail clippers, tv remotes, gold chocolate bunnies from easter baskets

Edited to make this make sense, lol

At the end of each day I scoop out the soaked sections of litter from Oreo’s box into a plastic bag to take outside to the dumpster. Recently, she’s found it completely hilarious to dig at the bag, making pee soaked litter fly everywhere! Then she sits smugly by while I have to pick up all the little pieces

Pacey has his death glare of doom when told no. That is like his only bratty thing lol. No wait if you are petting him and for any reason stop paying attention first he will look at you then he will get “The stance” and you know it’s coming so you say “Don’t do it Pacey just don’t do it” then he will thump so you say “I’m warning you bun don’t do it” then BAM you are bleeding lol.

Dini oh Dini is I think going to grow up to be even more of a diva than Pacey. He is like OCD or something lol. He has to have everything in one spot if it is moved he throws a huge tantrum. His water dish is on the second floor of his condo but since he puts his whole face in the bowl to drink (weirdo) it spills so I moved it to clean up and forgot to put it back. MISTAKE! I kept hearing these tiny baby thumps so I checked on him didn’t see anything so i went back to what I was doing then I heard BANG BANG BANG so I rushed in there he had moved his bowl back (upside down of course) and then destroyed the cage EXCEPT his water dish LOL. I flipped it over filled it up put everything back and he was completely fine. He does it if you move anything he has all of his toys in his bed and plays with them and TAKES THEM BACK! I have never seen a rabbit put it’s toys away ever!

This morning, I set my alarm to go off at 6:30, plopped onto the couch, pulled a blanket over me and settled in for my hour and half of sleep. At around 6:30, Huckleberry jumped onto the couch and started digging at my blankets and biting me. I groaned and pushed her away and went back to sleep. She jumped up a few minutes later and did it again. I put her on the floor and went back to sleep. The third time she did it, I told my boyfriend who was awake and watching tv to put her in her room and feed her. Finally, she let me sleep. At 6:53 my alarm went off. I looked at it and couldnt understand why it was just then going off since it was actually set for 6:30… So, apparently Huckleberry knew it what time it was and was trying to help, I guess I owe her an apology and some nomnoms….

Sonn, you need to record Dini drinking with his whole face in the bowl! We have to see this!!! And if you want to recreate and set him up to throw a tantrum, it could be pretty entertaining.
