  I love our new rabbit Gabby so much. I don’t know how I made it before without her. Last night my daughter spent the night at my parent’s house and my husband and I rented a lot of movies to watch. Several times Gabby would get on the foot part of the ottoman and sprawl out like she was watching the tv too. It was so cute. Like she was relaxing and hanging out with us too. Then she would go crazy and binky and run faster and faster. She’s like having a little crazy monkey running around the floor.
  
  I think she enjoys not living in that tiny pet store cage and being caged up all the time. I let her out of the laundry room all the time because she comes to the gate I made and gives me a pitiful look like please get me out mama. I enjoy being around her and watching her all the time. Just thought I’d share how much I love my bunny.

  That’s great that you love your bunny! Sounds like she’s adjusting quite well, and a sweet little girl. Sometimes, when I’m just having a moment with my bunnies, I wonder to myself how anybody could ever have neglected and given either of them up…but you know what, they’re the ones missing out!

  It’s so sweet when they start showing off their personality. Heck, it’s sweet when they finally want to spend time with you! lol Bunnies really are the bestest pets!

  I agree with you Michelle, bunnies really are the best pets!
  This is probably extremely sacrilegious, but I often pick out what makes buns so wonderful by comparing mine to the dogs or cats I have had. Huckleberry is as loyal as a dog, she loves to hang out with us and greet new people. She as independent and tidy as a cat. Unlike cats and dogs though, she has such a wonderful personality. Binkies, nose bumps, licks, their language is so much more entertaining!
  
  Reading your post, brittbritt, made me so happy! It makes me fall in love with Huckleberry all over again. It makes me want to go dig her away from the frozen water bottle she has been attached herself to for the last week and snuggle her until she gives me her usually “Gah Mom! Leave me alone! You’re messing up my coolness!” snort and kicks me so I let her go. Gabby sounds adorable! I am so happy for you and that you swept her away to a better life!
