Oreo seems to have a bad time with her poops during the shedding season; she isn’t one who eats hay or even the grass that is avaiable. Currently she has been having a hard time. Could added stress create create the upset GI tract . Keep in mind that I don’t pick her up much except when necessary. I don’t want to hurt her and she can hold a grudge for days.
Her day; Saturday she went to the groomers to have her nails cut; keep in mind there were dogs barking and it was fairly noise of which she is not used to, Sunday was a calm day for her, Monday when I arrived home from job number 1 I thought it odd that she was downstairs and not napping upstairs under the bed. I took her to the vet that evening to have her ears checked; he had to clean the ears out because of wax build up. Tuesday she was cranky she grunted at me (this behavior is not like her) Wednesday when I arrived home she still didn’t want ot be bothered and is in her meat loaf position At that point I was calling the vet today. When I arrived home Wednesday night I was following her around the house with parsley and her water bowl. This morning she was 90% better, she didn’t want any treats but she was up and following me around the house. I gave parsley and brought her water bowl to her. She ate some parsely and drank a bit of water
I know about the 12-24 rule about pooping. My comments and questions. Is it at all possible that she would be so mad at me that she would not eat, could the two days of interupting her routine make a difference, is she sick. Does bunny know best not to eat when her GI tract is upset?
I have noticed liter missing out of the pan. I think she is eating it. (Carefresh)
Any suggestions/opions would be great.
