wow am i pleased, awhile ago i posted about my rabbit puffmais being a terror with throwing and chewing up everything. i also mentioned id have to take in another rabbit that couldnt be sold at the store i work in.  my rabbit was unalterd, i thought the new rabbit would have been but surpise surpise he was not.

so i picked up apfel  on the 19th and i let him run around my bedroom (rabbit room) keeping puffmais locked up. there was plenty of grunting and thumping coming from his cage, but the next morning i deiced to let them both out- but WOH SAMUS, arent you skipping some steps?

yesss i did but after some lundgeing and just holding them down soon it was calm besides what seemed like hours, days really of humping, march 24th they spent the night together in the big cage and today? nothing but endless grooming and flopping, i am so overly pleased i never thought poof would get along with another rabbit.  i cant wait to grow my heard now. (in good time!) but yeah his throwing and eating problem? i left my sweatshirt out and my phone for the test, all the did was lay on it and poof ignored my phone!

just figured i could share my story! and i have included some pictures of the happy couple

and another plus! besides grooming eachother they have been grooming me and my S.O. too <3

nope, they are doing fine with all the parts they were born with, when expenses allow (when im not lavishing them in expensive veggies~) they will get snipped, its better for them in the long run.

So are they both the same sex?

Even if they appear to be both male, I would strongly suggest taking them to the vet to be properly sexed, especially if your rabbits aren’t neutered yet. It’s not uncommon at all for rabbits to be mis-sexed, and too many people have thought that they had two boys or two girls…only to end up with an entire litter.

Okay, just wanted to make sure because I was confused about your post. I would caution that they could possibly fight (I hope they don’t) but it’s possible that if they are not neutered, they could get hormonal. I also want to say that many times pet store employees aren’t quite as good at sexing as you are and they make mistakes.

but thank you, ill look out for their hormonal rages
