So I decided to give bunnies a little bit of green cabbage for St. Patty’s day.  They like red ok, so I figured, hey green can’t be that different, right?  But apparently, I am just a silly human.  Not only did they refuse to eat it, but Kate dragged all of it into their litter box and pooped on it!  Gee Katie, tell me how you REALLY feel. lol.

          Nice.

I tried to use Dono as an improvised bag pipe by blowing into one ear and giving him a little squeeze. He was not amused.

In case it makes you feel better, I shall share my own cabbage pain.

Summer 2009, my boys’ first summer. My mum grew red cabbages in her garden and when I went to visit she would cut off a few outer leaves for my boys. They loved them deeply and would set upon them ravenously. Winter arrived, and so we had to rely on shop bought produce.

They were not eating that muck. No way.

Summer 2010, I remembered their deep love of home grown red cabbage so went halves on a tray of seedlings with my mum. We used the same brand of compost too. Hers were loved and devoured… mine were snubbed. I actually got the butt for putting them up to my buns faces.

Cabbage. Who knew it could be so heart-breaking.

Ok, everything about this thread is hilarious right now to my sleepy brain.
