This is my new foster bunny. She’s huge! I’m still needing to weigh and sex “her”. Just thought I’d ask to see if she’s of a particular breed.

        Thanks!

          What a lovely bunny.
I’m not sure myself… but I’m loving the flecks of white on her fur.

          What a pretty bumba

Thanks! She has white on her feet as well.

I sexed her – pretty 99% sure she’s a girl. Will re-sex again tomorrow to make sure. It’s my first time doing it and I have no help. LOL. Luckily she’s really good about it.

She hated the scale. Best guess is 10+lbs.

Wow. I looked it up and that sounds about right. She fits the description. 🙂

There is a really great article in this years Rabbit USA on ruling out and in different breeds. One statement (though I agree she’s gorgeous) is if it’s a rare breed-your bunny is not that breed Silver fox is quite rare especially in the US-but who knows!! I find the breed game really fun-to guess, but even with genetic testing now available in dogs-nothing is a hundred percent unless the animal has papers-sometimes they look nothing like what they ‘are’ But fun to look around and guess! She’s gorgeous! Tell us what she weighs in at..I love big bunnies

                    She certainly is beautiful!

She could be a Silver Fox, but it is highly unlikely.

Her color is called steel (she is “silver tipped” steel, not quite to the extent of Silver Fox coloration).

Either way- gotta love big bunnies! Very feminine face too.
