  OMG! I woke up this morning and Lolli had poopy butt again. The only thing that has changed is her pellets. I switched her to Oxbow. She also got a bit of kiwi which is surprising cause the ones I bought are still a bit tart. lol And it looked like most of it was her cecals smooshed to her butt. She hasn’t been eating a lot of pellets cause she doesn’t like them too much. And I didn’t think she got that much kiwi or treats. I’ve been really limiting her on fruit and treats.
  
  So does anyone have any ideas on what is going on with her? She’s been eating normally and there’s no other medical issues with her. When I got back from helping with that one rabbit, I washed my hands really well with warm water and everything. I actually took laundry over to my mom’s afterwards so the clothes I wore got washed too.
  
  Also, is there a good way to weigh her? I have a digital scale that I put a towel on and then tried to hold her on it to weigh her. Last month, she weighed 7.4 lbs at the vets. When I weighed her, it said she weighed 7 lbs. But she barely stayed on it for a few seconds. Should even worry about weighing her as long as I keep limiting her pellets and treats?

  Was it a fast switch to Oxbow, or did you do it slowly? A change that is too fast can definitely cause poopy butt issues.
  
  Do NOT give nay more fruit. It will NOT help her.
  
  Put a box on the scale, then zero the scale. Pop her in the box to weigh her, it helps to keep buns contained.

  Oh no, I hope Lolli’s problems clear up! To weigh my bunnies, I usually step on the scale myself first (I hate this part haha), remember how much I weigh, then re-weigh myself holding my bunny. Some quick mental subtraction should give you the weight of your bunny…easier than trying to put a wriggling bunny on a scale! Even a curious bunny moving around in a box can cause the reading to fluctuate, making it difficult to get an accurate reading.

  Really, her problem is more mechanical than medical. I really believe it’s a weight issue and also a diet issue. She is not able to eat her cecals because she is cannot reach them due to her weight. Keep trying to get her to exercise to help her lose weight.
  
  I would stop the pellets and use them ONLY as treats and stop the fruit altogether.

  No more pellets or fruit. I was going to limit her to a tablespoon of pellets anyways. She’s not really eating them and I’m sure they are stale after a day. I did switch her too fast. I just mixed in her old pellets but there wasn’t much left.
  
  I don’t know if she’s just spring fever or what, but it seems like she’s feeling better. I don’t know how to describe it except that she seems more….bouncy. Usually she hops over to her litterbox, stops, then hops in. Lately she’s been doing a running hop with no pause. I can see that she seems less sluggish even though she didn’t seem sluggish before. I don’t know if that makes sense.
