To today was the first day my two rabbits had free roam of the bedroom in some time.  I had been doing a lot of costume work for a local show so my fabric was everwhere and didn’t want a bunch of taste marks all over it.  So I picked it all up, put it away and let them out. 

As usual, I head into the living room while they’re out and about because they prefer to frollick when I’m not around.  I come back in about half an hour later and I notice that both rabbits are back in their condo, standing next to one another, heads together with a piece of long felt under Maryann.  At first I figured she just found a new toy to share but as it turns out, it was actually a wine pouch that had a ribbon to close it and, well that ribbon had found its way around Maryann’s neck.  It seems that the two of them were working together trying to work out some way to get it off – back in the safety of their home.

I had figured that such a thing would have had maryann running around crazy but instead she seemed to calmly head over to her boyfriend to try and work things out.  I did get it off her and check her neck which seems fine, albiet a bit sensitive.  Sorry I didn’t get a pic of it, it was precious but daddy instincts took over to get her free and safe.
