        Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that not only am I 24 feet above sea level but there is a 50 foot bluff the water has to get over first.  However Maryann started thumping at 6:30 and does it again around every 10 minutes.  Guess she can detect tsunami’s as well as earthquakes.

Save A Bunny may be in a little danger depending upon how much a nearby (three quarters of a mile) wetland may swell.  However, there is enough runoff areas that it shouldn’t affect it too much – eventhough there’s a creek running in the backyard.

Ok, just read the news report.

Wow. I do hope Japan recovers. AN 8.9 quake is scary

Heffie got to do his first tsunami evacuation here in Hawaii last night. We stayed with some friends in the central part of the island and he had a good time scaring the beejesus out of their 2 cats. 🙂 I was so proud of him, he did so well! We use his cage as his litterbox and just take the top off now that we have the xpen, but boy did that cage come in handy last night. I was worried that he’d be restless or upset about the lack of space but he was quite content to lounge, dig at his hay and munch and investigate the curious cats on the outside of the cage, sending them scurrying off everytime he looked their way. Everyone is fine and Hef was so happy to get back to his own room this morning, he ran a few laps around the inside of his xpen. 🙂

What a horrible tragedy in Japan. I also hope our Japan members and their buns are ok.

It is just so unbelievable, the power of this quake/tsunami and how far reaching! An now I’m hearing of possibilities of a nuclear disaster in Japan also.

I hope Binky Bunny herself is ok.

I guess Heffie knew it’s good to remain calm in an emergency.  What a good boy.

I’m glad to hear that the US suffered minimal damage.
