Well.  It’s official.  I can’t keep going the way I am since Metlife is taking so long each time to approve my claims.  My landlord has been very kind in woring with me but his patience is running thin.  My dad has been very good about giving me money for food, but he can’t continue to do that either.

So I am going to have to move in with him at the end of this month.  This is not the ideal situation for me.  He lives in the middle of nowhere.  Ok, in the country and 15 minutes away from 2 towns.  But I’ve lived in Peoria for 10 years now and this is going to be a major adjustment.  Another thing is that whenever we’ve talked about it, he’s been adamant that Lolli be in the garage.  I have been just as adamant that this is NOT acceptable.  So we’ll see how that goes.  I remembered that when my brother was living there, he let my cat in the house and fell asleep.  So my cat peed in my old room in the basement.  I’m hoping I can convince him to let me put Lolli in that room since a pet has already kind of ruined the carpet.   She will have to be in her pen all the time anyways.  So we’ll see.

I’m still processing all this.  And it doesn’t help that my back doesn’t seem to be getting any better.   So yeah.  Blah.

You had back surgery?     Have you noticed that when your back hurts it makes you feel so tired ?

Gosh    I would go nuts if my bun had to stay anywhere but in my room with me  at the minimum.   I really want this to work out for you.

Insurance companies can be difficult.   The waiting         I think it was on Beetlejuice where the person waited so long he died and was a skeleton lol.     No you can’t possibly be waiting that long.

Heres to everything working out good for you

I hope everything works out for you and Lolli! I hope your therapy helps you improve too. I know how frustrating that is.

Michelle, I’m sorry you’re facing this upheaval. Hopefully it’ll only be a temporary thing & help take some of the financial burden off of you.
Could you make an agreement with your Dad that if you can house Lolli indoors with you, that you’ll replace the carpet later when you are able? Even if Lolli isn’t responsible for it getting soiled?

Good luck to you with your move. Hope you can convince your Dad about letting Lolli stay in the house.

I’m so sorry! Big hugs to you and Lolli. I hope things turn around and you’re able to move back on your own soon.

Thank you everyone. I am not planning on staying there very long.
