I’m glad that it’s March! February was a crazy month for me. The bunnies must be exited too, since I got peed on by a rabbit for the first time today.

I’m anxiously waiting for March 8th. On that day, I’ll be getting trained to be a feeder at the Colorado HRS shelter. I’ll have a good excuse to look at 80+ rabbits every week now.

Nope! It was Ms. Rabbit. I was snuggling with her outside of the bunny room for a little too long. She hopped onto my lap, raised up and sniffed my neck, and let loose a gigantic pee before I could react. I guess I’m too used to having Mr. Bunny. He always lets me know when he has to pee or poop while we’re snuggling.

I feel old. I’ve been frying my brain, finding a school. I would like to find one this month. I’m being very cautious when it comes to the courses I’ll be taking. Just want to be sure I’ll be 100% ready for the certification exam.

Anyways, I need to relax I believe but its hard.
I will be doing Chacha’s photo when I get home from work. LPT said it isn’t optional that I join in as I take a million pics of Chacha daily!

I’m mostly trying to recover from my Griffy cat’s dental surgery yesterday. SO agitated today! I spent the whole night getting up and checking on him, since he’s free range and I was expecting him to try a counter leap before he was ready. He looked like he wanted to get up on one this morning while hub and I were syringing water into him, but he’s just not ready for heights. I don’t think he can see well enough yet and is still wobbly from the anesthesia cocktail he had yesterday.
I am very angry with my vet. They scheduled way too much work into February doing the dental month thing when they are planning to move house this weekend, imo. And I shouldn’t have let the idea of a discount on animal dentals sway me into allowing both Griff and Jenna to have their teeth done…now that I think of it, Jenna was overly groggy too after hers. I can’t imagine so much dope for the pets, these two are 9.8 and 6 lbs, respectively, they don’t need it!
Moral of the story….friends don’t let their animal friends do drugs!! lolz…..at least not for just 10-20% discount. ~_~

So yeah…I’m surly (and PUNCHY) from lack of sleep and worry. I don’t know if I should consider taking Mimzy elsewhere for his filing that he needs, for my own peace of mind and his. Or rescheduling him for the only vet that he’s seen most of his life, although she doesn’t have many surgery days anymore and that would mean a wait. But then he starts sneezing again and I just can’t bear to hear him do it any longer. >.< He needs this done…that's another $200-$300 barring complications. Rats!

Sorry to be beefin’ about a vet in a public forum, but it’s making me crazy.

I’m on a new medication for my adjuvant cancer therapy and it’s finally getting to me in the side effects department…I’ve been on it two weeks now and the fatigue is developing, yet my insomnia is still going strong. Also I had terrible tinnitus/impaired hearing after taking it yesterday that lasted for over an hour. It’s messing with my stomach and I’m a lot dizzier with this one than the other. Leg and back pain is increasing and I get sharp pains in my stomach/upper abdomen that I’ve never had before and they scare me, since my (step)mom died from pancreatic cancer that started with pain like this. I know I’ve only got to take this for two more years, and I should be happy to have it, but besides all the other symptoms, if it makes my ears ring like that all day every day I’ll go insane. 0_o And boy, is my memory going now! I almost feel like I’m getting Alzheimer’s! I have a much shorter fuse as well, which is disturbing.

I still have decluttering to do and taxes to prepare. Gosh I hate this time of year! The only good thing about it is that hopefully spring will be here soon and maybe I can get outdoors and relieve some of my barnsour-ness/cabin fever! I need sunny warm days and NO SNOW. Too bad I’ll have to trade that for mosquitoes, but hey…sacrifice is everywhere, right?
Meh…I’ve even edited this post a few times and it still sounds grumpy as heck.

AWWWWW that is so cute that you guys are doing a bunny pagent I just went over to see it and it really did  make my day!!!! Ill probabaly try and squeeze a pic of Zoe in there later on tonight. I dont have a bunny tiara so she would probably have to go all natural. Cant wait to see all of BB’s lil divas!!!!!  (it is okay if bunny isnt wearing a tiara, right?)

The side I’d blocked her from. She had a yummy apple treat just now too, so I don’t know why she’s so hungry and slippery.

MM, is this med better for you than the one you’re used to? It sounds lousy, but will it do the job if you put up with it? I really hope so.

Aww Mimz Are you on maintenance chemotheraphy of some sort? I know there are some women that do that after battling cancer and want to keep it kicked to the curb. I am sending some hugs to you.

Okay, after i’m done writing questions I need to ask potential schools., I am going to take some pics of CHacha bunbun!

Yes, this is maintenance therapy. Which is why I don’t knock it, it’s just not the fun stuff. And hey, two years…piece of cake, right? The last med I was on was a 5 year stint. I was SO ready to lose THAT one! lolz….
Any other meds in this group would have the same, possibly worse, side effects. And each day is different…today after my dose, I’ve got he worst stiff neck. It’s just bizarre how the focus shifts with this one.
But basically, since I read up that it’s not a matter of if the cancer returns, but when, this is why we take these drugs…to try to keep the dragon back a while longer.
As long as there’s no estrogen to feed it, I guess it will stay away. So that’s what the drugs do…they basically starve any remaining cancer cells of a food source. Doesn’t mean that other cancers can’t show up, but it’s less likely my breast cancer will return elsewhere in my body.

*pokes through old PC folders* I know I’ve got a shot of Pip in a tiara, tutu (by fourfour) and holding a wand, my daughter put the clothing on as clip art…now where did I put it…?

I’m sorry to hear about your kitty. I’m also having some kitty concerns (again..what is up with our pets…now even our cats are doing it to us!). My cat, Andy, has been losing weight these last couple of months so I’m taking him in for a check-up next week. I’m very worried because he is reminding me very much of my bridge kitty, Ash, who was diagnosed with Diabetes. That was a terrible struggle and despite all we did and the money we spent he passed away as he was just not thriving from the treatment. I’m so worried that Andy has diabetes too. That would be just my luck…the only 2 boy cats I’ve ever owned…but I will just have to wait and see.

I’m starting my Easter Campaign next week (posters, ads, etc). Does anyone have any suggestions for my kijiji ad? I went to the vet’s last week and on my way there I thought, “Darn, I should have brought a poster” and when I got there I was thrilled to see my vet beat me to it! She had the poster ”You wouldn’t buy a Reindeer for Christmas, Why buy a Rabbit for Easter” on her bulletin board. I love my vet!!! 

Who gave my bunnies energy drinks this morning?! A few minutes ago, I went into the bunny room to feed the bunnies. I’d heard a lot of dragging and jumping noises coming from in there for the last hour or so, but I thought that it was just them playing with their new Maze Haven. I kind of wish that I had taken a look a few minutes sooner!

Apparently, they both decided to be extremely naughty at the same time. They broke into the food box and the “bunny emergency bag”. Here’s a list of the things they’ve eaten since last night:

• About 1/4 of a box of raisins
• About 1/3 of a half-empty bag of craisins (everything they didn’t eat was scattered around the room)
• Possibly some dried papaya
• Whatever (very old, possibly rotten) treats and pellets that were dropped in the very bottom of the food box
• At LEAST 3-4 cups of timothy pellets (like with the craisins, the rest of the bag was scattered everywhere)
• Fortunately, a good amount of hay
• Some Neosporin
• Some anti-fungal cream
• Some cornstarch
• A good amount of a reusable waterproof shopping bag
• A good amount of the cover of my favorite history textbook
• A huge amount of a leather sofa (of course, the one part that may have still had food residue on it)
• Possibly a few bites of a TV cable (the TV wasn’t on, thank goodness!)

This isn’t the first time that they’e done something like this together, but they’e never done so much damage in such a small amount of time!  Looking forward to the two cases of severe gas that I’ll probably be treating today.

I’ll have to post pictures of Lolli I took the other night. She was all grumpy in them as usual. Which is why she’s not in the contest. LOL She really is a little sweetheart. She just gets pissy when I take her picture – EVERY TIME. lol

Mimz – I hear you on medications. Although mine are not like yours. I’m on neurontin for my nerve problems. Only I am on a very low dose. 400 mgs. Apparently in order for it to be effective, a dose of 1000mg or more is required. My grandma’s on 1600mg for her fibromyalgia. I can’t get higher than 600mg without not being able to function at all. It makes me too sleepy. Even at 600mg, all I want to do is sleep. All day/night. If I can force myself to keep moving, I can sort of function. But as soon as I sit down, that’s it. I just want to go to sleep. And forget about actually being able to THINK. It’s not a total mental confusion, but I have trouble concentrating and forming thoughts cause I’m so sleepy.

I know the cancer drugs can be horrible for side effects. So (((hugs))) . And (((vibes for Griffy)))

Aww Mimz, I am sending vibes your way I made really good friends with older ladies on this ovarian cancer message board online and some of the ladies are on my facebook. There is one that gets maintenance chemo. Some days she feels great, some days, not so much I wish chemo wasn’t so toxic

I met a teal warrior (ovarian cancer color is teal) on Monday. She lives in Japan, and was visiting her mother in law in my city.. (it was so surprising lol) so she stopped by my work to say hi since she was so busy during her stay. I felt like my mother connected me with these women.

I went to the vet with a very disapproving Bindi Loo yesterday. She did a swab test of his ears and the results came back; normal in one ear and some strange cells and bacteria traces in the other. She said for most rabbits she would have me stop the Baytil since it’s not really an infection but with his ear history we have to be safer than sorry. If I don’t treat it now it may turn into a full blown infection. Topical Baytril for 7 more days and then back to the vet again. Poor little guy. They all just adore him at the vet though!

I everybody! I’ve been absent from the chat threads lately, but I really want to join this month! I completely missed the pageant thread and feel bad that Hannah is left out … I just don’t have any good pics of her to choose from and she’s so hard to photograph that I knew I couldn’t do it in time. I’m totally entering Otto for the boy’s contest though 😉 He’s so adorable!

Work has been kind of stressful lately … There’s just a lot of stuff going on and half of the time I don’t know what’s going on. It’s getting better though! I need to come and talk to you guys during the day to blow off some stress 🙂

I always like how Lolli and especially Eddie was always horrible for me but were complete little angels for the vet and staff whenever I took them in. Eddie was prone to biting me whenever he felt like it. Most of it was a “put me down” or “MOVE” nips but they still hurt. So I’d always warn them. And they’d bring him back and tell me he was perfectly fine. Meanwhile back at home, I’d get thumped and flicked off. Lolli just hides as soon as she gets home. lol Usually I have problem getting her to go in the pen area when she knows it’s going up so I can pick her up and put her in the carrier.

We’re taking Peppy bun-dating tomorrow for the first time! Ahhhh I’m so nervous! Not sure if we’ll come back with a husbun for Peppy…we’re going to take our time. I figured it would be a good time to get a second bun, since spring break is coming up so we’ll be around 24/7 to start the bonding.

I’m honestly still a little apprehensive about losing bun love…right now, when I lay down on the floor, Peppy will binky over to me and start licking immediately. She likes to jump on the bed and visit me when I’m on my laptop (which is like always, lol) and bother me for pets and head rubs! I know I’ll still love my little girl no matter what, but I’ll be sad if her affection toward me changes. However, I believe that she’ll be happier with somebunny who understands her (unlike us silly humans), especially as we get busier and don’t have as much leisure time to dole out the affection.

meh. my rib hurts ._.

chacha’s condo towel is being washed. she loves leaving territorial poops all over her pen, and she has left some pee in the condo, so its time to clean the towel!

she is currenty laying flat on my old powerpuff girl blanket.. her chin is flat on the ground.. and she is napping with her eyes open. it looks as though she is staring at me.. how creepy!!!!!!

I let her out as soon as I got home (around 3 pm) and I put out her maze haven. She decides to floppers in the haven, and she puts her chin on the ground.. and her face is looking out out of the holes. I’m not even sure if she was asleep or giving me the death glare from playing the new Pokemon.

How did your interview go?

Going to my volunteer orientation session at the SPCA tonight. Not really sure what to expect. The few dealings I’ve had with this SPCA I found the people in charge not to my taste (quite rude!)…but we will see how it goes.

OMG neurontin.     I was on that for a while.   Then my ins,. stopped paying for it.    As I stopped taking it I realized what med was making me an airhead.  

I put a pot in the microwave.   I turned the stove on when I had a burner cover on it about caught fire.   Among other things.   Couldn’t remember nothing.    

Was back to myself when I stopped the meds.   Thank you insurance .  Back to normal now.

Was  petting Cotton then I started yelling at the lady on the phone and he ran off.   OH he just came back.

I am trying to get safelink to get hubbys free phone minutes working.  Doggone one of the places did not verify we had benefits from them.  So I ended up reenrolling and didn’t put the co. that did not verify the info.  

This safelink stuff has turned into a nightmare .   I keep telling hubby forget this free stuff just take my metro phone and go with metro I can add him for 20 a month.   Nooooo.   OH well.  so h ends up using my metro phone when he wants to call someone lol

Just when he is gone somewhere then he will use his safelink phone.   O well…

He sister from egypt came with his other sister and grand neice sunday.  We had fun then they had to go the little neice had school so she had to get to sleep.  She grew and is so pretty.

MM  Perhaps your body will adjust to the meds and won’t be so bad?    With lots of meds that happens.   Hopefully it will happen with you and not bother you so much.     We lost a neighbor downstairs for throat cancer.   The other neighbor here thought he was cured but it came back or it never left.   I think it  never left cuz he didn’t go for chemo but once.  He felt better and was going around saying he was cured.  I dont’ think he was.  I think he stopped the chemo too soon.     He is on morphine and lost so much weight.  That cancer.  I hate it.  

Hubby was diagnosed 2 months after we married.  I am so thankful it is gone.   Hopefully it will stay gone.   Been gone about 5 years. 

I hope you make it to MM.   Just stay in touch here on BB.   I watched the Last Mimzy.   It was good.

she always gives me kisses  lol! i can’t tell which ones are for ‘tasting’ or which ones are for ‘love.’

I didn’t get the Starbucks job after all. Oh well  I called another local Starbucks (there are 5 in the city that I live in), a safeway that i applied at, and I am turning my application at winco tomorrow for a produce worker. I spoke to a produce worker (I have a connection there, and a friend that works at winco) and asked the name of the manager. i’ll be calling to speak to the manager in a few days.. give them a couple of days to look at my application. I am persistant  I can’t help it.

My friend that is a Medical Assistant and her mom, a Nurse Practicioner are going to write me a letter of recommendation so I can apply to volunteer at my local hospital. I go to a clinic that is apart of the hospital.. so hey, why not? LOL. I went to my doctor last time for a check up and I spoke to the medical assistant. she said the office hired 2 extern medical assistants  I have hope.. somewhat. anyways, my grandma said she wants to write me one too. We have different last names and she said she won’t say we are related on it. I am glad that if I am able to volunteer, it will be before and during school, not after when I hear some people are struggling to find a job. some of that experience will rub off on employers  i i hope i hope i hope i hope.

Hi everyone. This is my first “chat thread”. I am sure you have all read a ton of Huckleberry here and there.

FluffyBunny, your post cracked me up. You must have either left a cup of coffee out or they were very angry at something! I bet cleaning all that up took a very long time!

I went to the hospital yesterday morning with some kidney trouble. Things are ok now. Huckleberry spent the entire night cuddling on the couch with me watching Simpsons. It scared her when I would “get sick”. She thumped every time I did. She was a good little nurse though, she made sure that every peice of toilet paper I used had bunny nibbles in it.

To those of you who are fighting with much more severe problems, I want to send hugs and hope that your buns are just as comforting.

I been spendign so much time online finding free books for my nook.   I am so happy with that thing.    I got 190 books only paid for 15 of them.

Oh how I love to read.    

I planted some herbs the other day.   Used the bunny poop contributions and dirt to plant them in.   Rode my bike to the store and knee did excellent.  No pain at all.    Can’t wait til the herbs come up.  

Basil  oregano  parsley and thyme.   The neighbor said plant a lot of thyme we need time lots of time   lol.

Well, come to find out, Starbucks DID call me.. they left a message on my HOME PHONE.. My dad called me while I was work! I called the store back and the manager left to go home and won’t be working until Friday. She did tell me if she chose me, she would give me a call back!

I’m feeling kind of lazy lately.

My dad’s 55th birthday is tomorrow. Chacha got super curious while I was wrapping gifts.. “OOOOOOO DIZ FOR GWANDPA DENNY!!!!!!!!! MUST CHEW!” So, I gave her the wrapping paper roll after I was done wrapping

Tomorrow morning I head out for an 8 hour drive with my car packed with bunnies! 5 flemish giants and an english lop from canada. Fun!

My dad goes grocery shopping at a local grocer a lot. He talks to the lady cashiers. This morning, he told me the lady said they’re hiring!! I call and speak to the manager and she said to reapply online. So I did…

And I got a call back within 3 hours!
The HR manager wanted to interview me today but.. I’m at work! BOOOOOO! But my interview is Tuesday. It is with the general manager.. for some reason? O.o
My friend that works at another location told me what to wear and what to bring. She really wants me to work there. Good pay and benefits. I believe it I for cashier.

A person on fb asked what place.. I know she is unemployed (and doesn’t even bother looking) but I don’t want competition is that selfish?

I’ve been calling the store at least once a month and I think they wanna get rid of the irritating , persistant person that keeps calling

Chacha, sometimes being the annoying one is all that will work, and no, its not selfish to choose to not tip your hand, its survival!

I have to say I am jealous of those of you who get to enjoy spring break. I chose to pick up extra hours at work before I realized that spring break means “time to move into the studios everybody!” to my art professors. To those who didnt know, I am working on a Bachelors of Fine Arts and teaching certificate. I have two sculptures, a oil paint color mixing quiz, a presentation on sexuality in todays schools, and a paper/museum visit all due the week after spring break! What on Earth was I thinking!!! I guess instead of spending my entire weekend soaking up lots of binky time, I need to buckle down and get to work… but its so hard when Huckleberry is being cute and you guys are talking about.. anything at all, really…
Oh well, busy as it will be, I am sure that my spring break will be a lot of fun. I hope everyone else’s is too!!!

Hmm.. well I have been going to school for a very long time and bouncing in degrees so I think I have enough hours to have a degree and a half by now… but for the BA, I am somewhere between my sophomore/junior year. By the end of next fall, I will go through a review process from the board or art directors that will determine if I am able to go for the Bachelors of Fine Arts or just a Bachelors of Arts (same amount of hours, but the BFA is more intense and focused and seniors of the BFA have a senior capstone art show). Crossing my fingers that the pieces I am working on now will be the ones that I can submit for my review in the fall.

Oh this just made me roll around giggling after the topic I had about Banner’s bits. (both are there now btw!)  Hee hee I’m still giggling.

I’ve been uber-busy at work with a major software release (poorly planned, just like most things where you get people too high in the food chain to make the decisions), and the play I’m in (Prelude to a Kiss) just opened this Friday to GREAT reviews!

It’s been busy busy busy busy busy busy busy with work, play, Banner getting increasingly hormonal *sigh* – I barely have time to check this board anymore

The snip’s on 3/23 though!

Just got back from a camping trip to kick off spring break! We went to a “state natural area” with this mountain (granite basolith) that is essentially one huge chunk of rock…from the top, you can see for miles around out into the country. Hiked up in the middle of the night, where all the stars were visible…such a gorgeous sight (and site!), considering I’m a city kid and usually can barely catch any stars due to light pollution. We hiked up in the dark with flashlights, and stayed up there to watch the sunrise…it’s so nice sometimes to just get away from everything and relax. On the downside, I hiked about 15 miles in the past day, haha. Going to be so sore tomorrow, oh dear!

I had my second interview today at the grocery store! It went SUPER WELL!!!!!! The manager is funny. She said she wants to hire me. She had another interview after me, but she wants ME!!!!!!!! It is for a part time cashier position. I would be guaranteed 20 hours, plus more because there are some employees that call in for their own reasons (sick). Anyways, the mananger has to report this to the Human resources manager tomorrow and I will be given a call to get an oral drug test done. I will likely start in a few weeks, which is fine.

This is a good grocery store chain that is part of the Kroger Company. It is a Union and also gives benefits to its employees, and they get pay raises based on hours worked . I’m super excited! It has taken me 3 months to get an interview. Persistance pays off after all

Oh boy, so many bunnehs are having their birthdays recently! My own Peppy girl was born sometime in March as well…while I do wish each and every bun a wonderful birthday, I can’t help but notice the spike in bunny birthdays recently and realize that it all probably has to do with breeders “prepping” for the spring holidays

I thought that too peepypoo, its very sad. I’ve a feeling I bought my boys around easter (I didn’t even realise you could adopt) because it was early that year.

I was feeling a little chilly last night, along with a sore throat. I woke up with a cold iCK. my dad went to get me some cold medicine. I slept until 12 pm, got myself some ramen since there was no soup left. I felt kind of gross after eating the ramen, so I had an orange.

I was supposed to work out with my dad this morning and see my boyfriend because he is home from break.. but.. not happening. i’m stuck in bed all day.

Oh no! Get well fast Brittany.

The buns on the mr bunny pageant look stunning! Huckleberry says she wants to pretty herself up for them, I suggested a bath… she isn’t very happy with me now haha.

Well, Spring Break ends tomorrow. Did anyone do anything fun?

Whaaat? Mine just started! I have a friend whose break doesn’t start until a week later.

I had a nice break by taking pictures of Panko and posting them on the Mr. Binky Bunny thread. I’m just relaxing after the panic that was finals. I look forward to seeing more handsome boys!

I’m gonna take some of my Franz bunny but I want to take my time XD are they supposed to be like pageant type pics or funny face pics too? What about a mid air binky?

I went to the vet last week with my cat Andy and he needs some (((Get Well Vibes)))). He’s been losing weight so we brought him in for what turned out to be a very expensive visit. She did a blood test and urine test. He has a urinary tract infection so she gave him an antibiotic shot but that’s not why he’s losing weight. He has hyperthyroidism. This is a problem that can be remedied but it’s a long road to get there. We have meds to give him 2x a day and he has to eat special (and therefore, very expensive food). He needs another urine test at the end of March and another blood test in April.  Ever go to the vet to pay for your visit and they tell you the amount and your like “how much?” because you just can’t believe that a 1/2 hour visit cost that much! Your certain you heard wrong!!! Apparently, a full blood test is very expensive.

Because of this, as well as other money issues (including the fact that a few weeks ago both our barn and back deck collapsed from the weight of the snow) we are postponing the wedding until Fall. I’m not really upset about it because it gives me more time. The date will be October 22 (which is the date of our 10th anniversary together).

On a happier note, it’s Spring!  A time for personal and spiritual renewal. I’m hoping things get better from here.

Its wonderful that you two can agree to put off something as big as a wedding for the well being of your pets (as well as other reasons). Its always good to know just where your partner stands on the importance of 4 legged kids before you get too involved.

You know, I never give Huckles people food (except veggies and fruit of course) but EVERY TIME we bring home take-out, she runs in as fast as she can, expecting to get a french fry or fortune cookie. She jumps on the couch, gets on our laps, sniffs at the food in our hands and looks back and forth between the food and our faces like “HEY HI HOWS IT GOIN! WHATCHA GOT THERE! I WANT IT GIVE IT TO ME IT SMELLS YUMMY GIMME NOW!!!!”
I dont get it! What does she expect to happen? We put her on the ground and she stands up between our knees and tries to intercept food that way. She is such a piggy!!!

When my bf and I first bought home teriyaki, and I had just gotten Chacha, she hops over.. and her nose twitches x3u9487298472398473 times!!

Oh LPT, I’m so sorry to hear that the vet visit was so expensive. And although hyperthyroid is a nagging condition in both animals and humans, I hope that your dear Andy kitty doesn’t have too hard of a time with it. He should at least be able to maintain his weight once you get him into his new diet. I will send “eat your special food” vibes along with “get well” ones…as there is nothing harder than having to get an animal to stick to a proper diet. >.<
Oh those blood test fees! > I hate how those climb so quickly! We have to take Griffy back in on Saturday and I’m dreading that he’ll have to have either an xray or a blood test. Hopefully we’ll just get out of there with an ear cleaning and some drops for a mild infection. But just the test to find that out is outrageous.
Well, FINALLY got Mimzy’s and Fiver’s pix up for Mr. BB. I hope the pix are acceptable the way I put them together-daughter helped. I tell you, it’s impossible to photograph those two properly and they WILL NOT be dressed by anyone…. Anyone who wants to keep their fingers where they are anyway.
I’ve been all tax preparation this week. (My accountant sent me a ‘nudge’ email to get my butt in gear.) Between this and Griff’s problems and oh, my doc actually called me at quarter to ten tonight! (wow!) He said I don’t have to take any other meds till I see him on April 11, my next appointment. Then we’ll see what we do next.
I’m also going to have to see an eye doc (no pun intended.) My eyes are giving me some serious grief these days. Floaters, blurriness, headaches…I’ve had enough of it. I’m practically wearing coke bottle glasses as it is. Old age…it’s the gift that keeps on giving! lolz…..

I’m going to spend my whole Saturday babysitting my 2 nieces and nephew. The girls, 6 and 8, are angels but the baby, who’s 2, is a typical boy: loud, messy and bratty! It’s going to be interesting. I’ll probably bring some stuff to make cookies: bunny sugar cookies for Easter. The girls love baking and bunnies.

Ugh Taxes..I got to get my butt in gear and find all of our papers. Hopefully I will be getting money back this year…that makes all the work worth it. Gonna start my Spring cleaning today. I HATE cleaning! I want to like cleaning and cooking but I just don’t…would much rather be outside or cross stitching or you know staring at the ceiling. I just discovered that somebunny (or bunnies) have been using one of the shelves of my entertainment hutch for a litter box. The stinkers. Poos only, thankfully.

On a funner note, I’m so excited to see all the Mr. BB contestants! Squeeees!!! Who will be the big winner????

@Mimz What a great fortune! I like it. I always hate calling repair men for plumbing problems or car trouble. I want to be out there fixing it myself and saving some $$$$.

I never was very excited about taxes. I usually get less than half of what my boyfriend gets. He gets a fair amount, I get barely anything. The guy that prepared them for me last year entered my info and said “You need to pay $507.” :-O He double checked and realized he had entered CA instead of OK for my state and that was why I underpaid so much. That scared me and I lost faith in that company so, this year, I tried out turbotax (my boyfriend was foaming at the mouth for me to use it). I entered my school expenses and ended up with twice as much as what he got back. So any of you in school, check into that. Even if you didnt save receipts for books, your school may have an accounting for tuition and maybe even what you spent at the bookstore!

WOW! Have you guys tried that comb they sell here on BB? I just got mine in the mail today, along with some new baskets and sticks and stuff, Ill post pics later. But wow! That comb really works well!!!

Huckleberry gets so depressed looking everyday around this time (noonish) … I am sure that it is because I keep waking her from her nap but it makes me sad to see her look so bummed out.

Actually most of the afternoon is nap time, lol. But I know what you mean…sometimes Peppy looks sooo sad when she’s stretched out with her head laying on her paws. I’m sure she’s fine, but it’s so hard not to anthropomorphize.

Oh yes, it is nap time. Even if I open the condo door.. Chacha just says in her condo. I’ll be letting her out in a bit..

I’ve rabbit proofed my room, taken out my electronic chargers whenever she comes in. I just don’t want her to shock herself. I’ve put up some nic grids on the side of my tv and around my lamp. She seems to be enjoying herself.. but she thinks it is funny to leave poops in my room Kafrn told me to not start poop wars LOL xD I have 2 litter boxes in the condo, so I put the smaller one in my room when she is in here with me so she can do her business.

I’m kind of lazy today. I just emailed some questions to a potential school. I’m lazy.. I don’t feel like talking o_O Is that bad????
