I’m thinking of starting a rabbit-owner meetup group! can you guys help me tweak my meetup description?

To all who share their lives with a companion rabbit or more than one, or to those who adore these gorgeous creatures, I’m gauging the level of interest starting a meetup group to compare notes, share war stories and perhaps give our pets a chance to play in a safe environment. “

        Thanks!

The only change I would suggest is to make it specifically a House Rabbit group. Otherwise, you’re in for some heated “discussions” about indoor vs. outdoor habitats, weather, breeding, etc. You’ll find the mindset of House vs. Outdoor vs. Breeder is very, very different.

That’s awesome. When I got my first bunny my dream was a sort of doggy day care for bunnies-for bunnies to meet up and play. Realized when learning more that was silly-for infection control and just their personalities…but meeting up with other bunny owners is so fun. BB did that for me and is amazing. I would LOVE to meet up with bunny owners in person-that’s a very cool idea

i’ve had a couple people join already, which is fun! i’m not sure about the practicality or advisability of having the rabbits actually play together but we can crosss that bridge when we come to it.

Maybe, if you have a meetup over the summer when I’m at my parents’ place, I’ll join you.
