         …with PETA.

I think I might be crazy.

        Okay, I am crazy.

Basically, my mom and dad will be here this weekend. And they’ll expect a report on what internships I’m applying for.

I don’t think mom will have a problem with PETA if I get it. But my dad DEFINITELY will.

Back when I was in high school, PETA had lovely metro ads (in DC) that stated something along the lines of “Last year, PETA spent x amount on the defense of those accused of crimes against animal testing facilities.”

My dad claims they’re supportting terrorists. (He’s thinking people who blew up facilities). And according to him, that makes them terrorists and they should be put on the terrorist watch list.

I have no idea how to tell them I applied to PETA and really want the internship without him flipping out and calling ME a terrorist.

I think it might help to find out exactly what kind of duties your internship will entail and telling your dad. And, of course, clarifying on just what kinds of things PETA meant by “crimes against animal testing facilities”. Good luck with your situation!

My dad doesn’t really like where I work either. It’s a long story and personally, I don’t think my dad has any right to not like my company. Ok, his reasoning is stupid. There I said it. LOL

                Hey hope you get it.

Years ago some people who were peta people did break into labs and take the animals even tho they didn’t know what the animals may have been tested for.   Some were for testing diseases and they took those animals out risking society getting sick and themselves too

Some have blown up stuff. I know peta doesn’t condone that.    You know how some people get a little crazy about things  like destroying blowing up or burning ATC’s to protest off roading.

Those few who did these things probably weren’t right upstairs to begin with.    They were a crazy bunch.  Glad they are just a few tho.  I know they don’t represent peta as peta doesn’t condone breaking the law.

I bet you learn a lot while working for Peta.  About cruelty free products too.

                job vibes for you.
