Moosie doesn’t really like the girls much, so we will likely take him bun dating at a later date so he can pick his own friend. Hopefully a grey or orange lop

I kept the bonding kind of quiet, as every time i posted a bonding journal they stopped playing nice with each other lol.

Monkey is having to deal with the uncolored litter for now, until they are fully bonded and cemented. Then I can switch down to 1 box and use the pretty stuff again

Was funny last night during the girls’ dinner time. Happily eating cilantro, Smudge finishes her piece… reaches over… yanks Monkey’s out of her mouth. Monkey sat there wondering where her cilantro went, then just grabbed some lettuce. lol

Nope, she just ate lettuce instead She loves her Smudgie

It’s hard, thats for sure! She is just too adorable

They are together for their cementing now, I’ll be changing to the laptop in a few minutes (yay new laptop ) and I’ll be camping out in the living room with them for the next couple days. They are doing great so far

And Monkey is still in charge She still humps like crazy, and hasn’t groomed Smudge yet, but Smudge grooms the heck out of Monkey. Smudge is just a ninja when it comes to the noms

More pics coming soon, had to charge camera battery again lol. It’s been 48 hours now, and things are great. They sleep side by side alot, eat together, don’t fight over pellets… I has happy girls

So, it has been a week, and they are still doing good

Monkey still humps, but Smudge is starting to hop away when she has had enough. Monkey seems to be learning what the hump limit is … slowly. But they still share food, the litterbox, sometimes snuggle. It’s good

Long time no see Was wondering where you went

Yeah, Moose decided he hated Monkey, so.. I bonded Monkey to Smudge, who had been my foster bun. Now I have a pair of happy girls and a lone bachelor boy

When the girls move into the new condo their daddy just built, I’ll take pics then. Cuz then it will be all clean and stuff

It was mostly uneventful. Monkey humped, Smudge sat there. Monkey humped, Smudge sat there. Smudge hops out of litter box, Monkey chases her, Smudge hops back in litter box, Monkey flops.

Monkey didn’t like her being out of the litter box during sessions. But they did great in the box. I had to have he litter box in there, as Smudge freaked out without it. She needs something to feel safe in all the time. It took some time for Monkey to let Smudge come out of the potty without chasing her, but it eventually happened. And they would flop and stare at each other. Monkey liked to run over to Smudge, demand grooms, then flop rather abruptly beside Smudge, which usually startled Smudge (she scares easy).

Smudge is slowly coming to terms with Monkey being an energetic little psycho, so it’s working well

My hubby caught them snuggling in the little grass hidey house yesterday morning They ususally don’t snuggle much yet, as Smudge is easily startled by Monkey, and she usually scampers off to the litter box when Monkey does something near her. So sudden flops = Smudge in potty.

I guess it’s still kind of a work in progress, but Smudge is always grooming Monkey’s little ears, which is funny as Monkey’s ears are very ticklish and she can’t stand them being touched for too long. And Monkey did groom Smudge once. That we saw, anyway. Maybe she doe sit more often when we can’t see her do so.

I took my time doing sessions with them. i didn’t want to stress out poor little Smudge any.

When their condo is finished (hubby had to go buy more clips today to finish it) we will take pics of the girls in their new house

yeah, moose is having none of it. If he gets near the girls he goes psycho bunny on me. he tries to attack them through the pen bars, so he isn’t allowed near it now. We have another pen that we use to block off the girls pen from him.

At some point, we’ll get a boy to bind with him.
