Pretty hilarious, and it makes you think. If you plan on having a family, perhaps you should take it into consideration when you buy a pet? Haha.

          LOL!
          I love this!
One of my dad’s old friend said: “if people want kids, they should have a pet first.”

My bf’s sister recently got rid of her husky because she had a baby. She didn’t even train it. She tried to but couldn’t. *shrug*

I read the article to my dad and he laughed.. he said ‘koucha isn’t disposable!’ I said ‘no she isn’t!’

The person makes a good point. It disgusts me that people see animals as second class citizens. They were here before we were

GENIUS!!! and definitely gets the valid point across haha. what’s sadder to me is people who buy cute pets on impulse and then give them up when they find out how difficult it is to properly take care of one. maybe I should create a post along those lines… >=)

the babies keep pooping and peeing and they make a mess! plus they won’t stop talking!

ahahahha. seriously. my friends girlfriend (who I’m really not fond of) keeps getting these adorable puppies and then completely neglects them and gets irritated because they poo, pee, smell…. all things that can be taken care of if she trained them and didn’t leave them in the kitchen/a kennel all the time. needless to say she ends up giving or selling them after a month or two. it’s one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen. she came to my house and saw my buns and started asking my friend to buy her one and I straight up told her they wouldn’t be able to take care of one.

                        Good job angie-la!

I don’t make a whole lot of $, but the tips I receive go into a safe bank I have. The funds are for Chacha. Never know when she’ll need an emergency vet visit. I believe I have around $150 or more from 2 months of tips. Its just growing. Back to my job search

I believe a member posted that Paris Hilton rescued rabbits from being snake food and the rabbits are in her backyard. She has 17 dogs, I wonder if she knows about fixing her animals. I kind of doubt she takes care of them. All 17+ dogs and who knows how many rabbits.

I definitely have to agree. And Easter is the most sad time for rabbits and families who buy them for “the spirit of the holiday”.

I work at a preschool and Smokey is the pre-k class pet there. I have had plenty of parents approach me asking what breeder I purchased her from and how their child talks non-stop about Smokey and how they want one. And every time I have explained that owning a rabbit is NOT easy, they are a LOT of work and money, and you can’t neglect them or they die. Parents seem kind of shocked to hear what I have to say, even though they are older so you would think they would know better. Especially with having a child under 5 trying to “take care” of the rabbit ;/
