So our little trouble-maker Aeryn has figured out that the house hsa both upstairs and downstairs, and would run up to the 2nd floor and the basement neither of which she’s allowed because they’re not  bunnyproofed.  We’ve had to gate those when she’s out.

She’s also figured out that there’s all sorts of things to explore in the kitchen.  Like how she can stand up on her hind legs and just reach the dog’s food dish.  For some reason she loves the dog’s dry food.  Which we discourage, of course.

And tonight, she managed to find a bag of potatoes in the kitchen, chewed through the plastic, and ate roughly an eighth of a small potato.  Yes, we realize that potatoes are not for bunnies, and that the plant itself is toxic.  Fortunately the root vegetable isn’t.

It’s a good thing the big bowl of potato chips in the dining room, where the bunnies live, is too far out of reach!  Although I shouldn’t put it past her, since this is the bunny who can turn the key locking her cage and break out…

What a little troublemaker!!! I was thinking about you this morning, actually, wondering why you haven’t been posting much.

Stormy used to steal cat food out of the cats dishes. We keep them up now though so he can’t get them. Olivia likes to search the floor after we’ve watched a movie to see if there are any potato chip crumbs. Bad bunnies!

It’s amazing what they will eat. Little Toby will stage a breakout and then hide until he gets a chance to chow down on the cat’s food too. And not just the dry, he loves the fish wet food too which is just totally gross. When I pick him up, he’s still trying to hold on to the saucer 😉

lol, Rufus likes to clean up the floor too…he particularly likes around Riley’s cage (one of our parrots)…Riley’s a flinger and his food ends up all over. He eats 100% fresh produce though, so it’s fine for Rufus. It’s cute watching him zoom around vacuuming all the pieces up with his little fuzzy nose!

Aeryn sounds like quite the little smarty pants lol.

Hmmm sounds like it’s dog-food week for the bunnies on BB! I’d think the little stinkers wouldn’t like meat-flavored food though, weird!
