  Okay so I’ve had this big girl for a month or two now and I still don’t have a name for her! Her spay appointment is coming up (the 21st) and I want to have her named and in the vet’s books by than.
  
  She’s a big black bunny. She’s very layed back and dopey. I keep seeing names with lots of Ds. Es and Ts in them. No Os or AHs. Something a little bit butch and simple.
  
  My three that I have it narrowed down to are:
  
  Astrid/Esther
  
  Bette
  
  Edie/Eden
  
  Any ideas? Oh and on a completely different not, as I mention above she’s about to go in for her spay. This will be my first bunny spay expereince and any dos and don’ts would be great. Thanks

  I think pictures should be a requirement for name pickin’ I like the sound of Eden but I need pictures to get my mind rolling on name ideas! lol

  Okay here she is:
  
  First off, I apologize for the crummy image quality, I don’t have a proper camera at this time.
  
  Secondly, I would like to clarify that this was cage cleaning day so the girls usually have more toys in their homes but everything was being washed or changed. The black bunny gets plenty of snuggles and she will be moved from that cage (which does in fact meet the HRS requirements) when she is spayed and bonded to my other girl. Than they will live together in the x-pen seen in the corner.
  
  Anyway, she is my cutie pie and I want her to have the perfect name. Hopefully this gave you guys something to work with and some inspiration.

  Well she’s all black….I would chose “Ebony”. I think it sounds beautiful. I also like “Esther”

  She is adorable! Eden is what I picked that name jumps out at me when I see her pics Ebony is realy cute too!

  I’ve decided on Eden with Edie as a nickname. The name just kind of popped when I thought of it and I knew… Thanks for you help guys, I basically just needed time to mull it over as well as a few outside opinions. (I like Evie too

  It’s slightly different, but as soon as I saw Bette and heard she’s a black rabbit, I immediately thought, black haired Bettie Page 😀 Eden is a great name though, personally when I picture an Eden like paradise, there are always lots of bunnies there.
