Can you make new bunnies out of shed fur? I think I have enough to make five or six more bunnies.

Mr. Bunny’s been having a crazy shed for about 1 1/2 weeks. I can’t wear black shirts anymore. Every time I spend 10 minutes plucking fur, I end up with several large handfuls of fur. He goes through a shed like this once or twice per year.

Earlier today, I noticed that Ms. Rabbit is shedding too. Her sheds are even worse than Mr. Bunny’s. In fact, once of the reasons that I adopted her was that I wanted to just spend 2 hours literally pulling out her entire old coat.

Lolli has decided to start shedding. Little tufts sticking up everywhere on her. She had a tuft sticking up on her forehead, between her ears. LOL I need to get some money so i can buy a lint roller and see how that works on her. Otherwise I’m gonna have to put some jeans and a few shirts on and start plucking her. I tried plucking her once and she got pissy and tried to bite me. She end up with a mouthful of blanket though.

Yes, we are shedding too! Jersey is in a crazy shed, really weird one for her so I’m getting her checked out for that. Rumball is having small areas start. He pretty much has constant fine fur (undercoat?) come loose all year round. This morning I pulled a tuft that was sticking out & it kept coming and coming. It was like a magicians hankerchief!

I get fur in my nose.. luckily I wear glasses or else I’m sure I would get fur in my eyes o_O;;; I can’t find my masks right now.

bunbuns, Lolli is such a grumpy butt

Chacha thumps at me if I am plucking/brushing too long

I comb Nibbler all the time but I never notice any hair coming out. But I have no clue what breed he is so I’m not sure if some breeds shed more than others? I worry about it because he loves to groom himself and of course I don’t want any hairballs, but like I said when I comb him no fur ever comes out.

Yeah, she is. LOL I feel bad cause it seems like whenever I talk about her, it’s always her being grumpy about something. She really is sweet. She’s just got that Diva-tude going on. LOL

Ohh yes, definitely shedding time. We joke about how Peppy’s growing her own little herd of fur bunnies in the carrier where she sleeps XD

omg it hasn’t stopped for weeks! When I brought Merry to the vet and mentioned the shedding, she didn’t believe me because she didn’t see “huge tufts of hair.” But then all Merry’s fine white fur started floating through the air and going into everyone’s mouths and noses and THEN they believed me. I could look at the bunny from across the room and still get covered with fur. And because it’s so dry in here it just flies everywhere and sticks to everything!

Wish I would have taken a pic of my coat right when I got back from the vet last night! Holding a white shedding scared bunny wearing a dark brown coat!!! Not a great combo. I had to pick all the fur out of the velcro and super sticky roll. I was sneezing in the car ride back because of all the fur up my nose.

Stormy just finished a big shed. It’s insane how much fur I can get off a little 3 lb bunny.

Olivia freaks out when I try to pull those little sticking out fur tuffs! So much drama with her…

My horse has started shedding alreay, it’s quite early this year. The days are getting longer and her coat is responding but I keep telling her not to lose to much because we still have a lot of cold left!!! I dread shedding season with her, my arms get so sore from brushing and she gets WAY more furry than all the other horses. I’m glad she stays warm but she looks so scruffy in winter, she grows this big long beard and long leg feathers.  Not very lady like!

My boy Lakota is a registered paint and he is 80% white when I curry comb him it looks like a ton of snow flakes on the ground from the curry comb and when he shakes or rolls there are horse shaped white patches all over the stall and pastures! lol 4 shedding horses! oh the hair!!
