My family and I are moving to the city in a couple of weeks. I’m so, so sick of boxing things up. >.< Unfortunately, there's still a lot to do – and I only have 1 to 2 weeks to do it. I’m still arguing with my father about where to put the bunnies. I’ve offered to fully bunny-proof an extra room for them out of my own pocket, complete with carpet pieces covering the floor and NIC’s covering the walls, but he’d rather put them in a small, unfinished storage room.

Yes, I’ve definitely been wanting to move. We went and saw the house right before we got it. It’s a great house. It’s pretty interesting; it was built by a family with a few disabled family members, so everything’s made to be wheelchair accessible.

My family and I are moving to the city in a couple of weeks.

Random observation – I love how every part of the country calls their big city “The City”.    To me, no matter where I am, NY is THE City!  (Incidentally, the WORST drivers in the area are the cabbies up here – I would love to send them to FL! )

Snow and bad weather? What? It was a balmy 75 degrees here on Sunday and Monday .  Well we’re getting a bit of a freeze now (mid- to low-thirties) but it’s shooting right back up in a few days.  Gotta love Texas weather!  Except the summers, of course…

Weeeeeeeeeeee I just picked up my keys and ID card for the Oregon Humane Society. Officially a volunteer there now They are happy to have someone experienced with bunnies for the small animal room

Fluffybunny, I understand EXACTLY how you feel lol! I just moved.. and I ran out of boxes -_- .. I am living on the top floor of an apartment and I had to take all of the boxes from the moving truck into the apartment. That was my work out for the week o________O!!!!!!!

A friend on FB bought up an interesting point.. why are there round abouts? I can see a little logic in it.. but.. bleh! A friend of mine said she saw a lady go left in the round about, instead of going right!!! ACK!!!!!!!!

It is really sunny today It was a nice walk from my work to the bus stop.

I’ve been cutting out the amount of red meat that I consume. I have been eating more turkey, chicken, and fish. I’ve been making my own meals at home, and making better choices about snacks that I eat. I eat a several almonds as a snack. There is protein in it as well I went without eating meat for a week and when I ate it for the first time in a week, I got sick

When I was on my out today, I went for a little walk around the cattery..and zomg there were 2 adorable little kittens just sitting there watching me, all of 8 weeks old. Precious little babies… Monkey would kill me if I brought them home though

I’m getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow morning at 9. I went to Fred Meyer after work to get fruit for smoothies (I will not use a straw LOL!!!!!!!!), some mac and cheese (not my usual food).

My dentist gave me 3 different medications. Ativan, Vicodin and one I can’t remember o_O; My dad reminded me to use my medical card to get the pills.. and the total came up to $1.17.

My eyes fell out of its socket

Gee whiz…I need insurance like that! 0_0 Will you guys adopt me?

I take something like ativan before any tough dental procedures, but then the doc winds up giving me a shot of epinephrine with the Novocaine (don’t ask me why) and the effects cancel one another out. >.<

Hey MB, I’ve been meaning to ask since last month, did you ever get your back tat finished? I didn’t get in here much around xmas and I don’t recall every seeing a pic of the completed image.

I have a LOT of vet stuff this month: Jenna needs a tooth cleaning, my cat Myuu (a.k.a. Tooey) and Griff both go in, her for bowel trouble and him for a well check so he can get HIS teeth cleaned…I’m thinking of having them shave him while he’s under. He’s got semi-long fur and it’s always filthy and he hacks up a lot of hairballs. But he’s such a good looking little guy, I can’t imagine him without his fur on.
Plus he’s SO skinny! I think he’s abnormally thin. Have to ask the vet about that too.

Ooo yes, it did get finished I’ll get hubby to take a good pic of it soon

I’m on my dad’s insurance..  I believe it is Uniform? I can only be on it for another year, since the cut off for adult children is 25. however, I’ll be still in school by then ,so I’m not sure how this can be all figured out

I have to pay the doctor deductible out of pocket $300 for each family member . My new job doesn’t pay the best, and I have my own phone and credit card to pay for. I keep all of my tips in a small safe. I’ve made $106.10 in 2 months. That money is going for bunny emergencies only. I’ve been looking and browsing other jobs.. the job market is getting a little better, but i can tell there is a lot of competition still.

my dad and i are getting our new beds delivered on saturday sometime. depending on the time,  we will go to ikea. i hope i won’t be too loopy

Brittany, I used to have to take ativan to get on airplanes…and my doc prescribed it for me all through my cancer therapy, and still does. Sometimes it’s the only way I can get to sleep.

I felt so sorry for anyone dealing with the blizzards back east, now we’ve got a winter storm warning up. But it won’t be that bad. Looks like we’re getting about 2-4 inches of snow by this weekend.
Last night it was coming down so thick I couldn’t see past it while I walked Jenna. Ever tried to catch snowflakes? Ever had no choice but to catch snowflakes?? 0_o

Doing a Smudge/Monkey duo currently. It’s going decent, although Monkey doesn’t like it if Smudge leaves the litter box >.< They do great in the box though, lots of snuggles, tons of happy nomming. Weirdos.

Mimz, the ativan made me loopy lola and I wanted to get to bed but chacha didn’t want to the poor girl thumped at a loopy mommy.
I got two ativan in the morning and headed to the dentist. I was there 2 hours instead of an hour and a half.the left tooth’s numbing agent was wearing off and I felt it >.> so my dentist put this mask over my face and I was seeing things and having weird dreams about mac n cheese coexisting with nature. Lol lol.

I got home, took vicodin and slept on and off. My dad took the day off to take care of me and organize the apartment. He made me mac and cheese and I took my antibiotic to rid of infection. Bad idea to lay down. So, I threw up two times. Gross. I’m calling my doc tomorrow morning

Otherwise I’m fine. Just sore and can’t talk very well. I’m eating a yogurt.

I think it’s pretty normal for some folks to throw up after having anesthesia. Good thing to check with your doc, though. I’ve never had my dentist give me the gas, and I don’t think I’d want to try it! >.<
Poor Chacha! She can probably sense you’re not feeling 100% so she wants you to stay put!

We have snow rakes up here to pull excess snow off our roofs before it gets to that point. Can you guys fashion something like that from some long poles and maybe some shovel blades or something?

I’m hungry. Tired of.. soups ><

My family and I are getting a moving truck the day after tomorrow, and we’ll be out of the old house in less than a week. I’m glad it’s almost over!

Today was my first official day today at the MSPCA with the adorable homeless baby bunnies! Unfortunately… The “rabbit expert” didn’t know what cecals were >.< and four of the rabbits had bad diarrhea! He said that "diarrhea isn't really a big deal…" and two of them have had it for a week straight. It's frustrating because that man is the only one who can fill out a checkup request form for the rabbits… Anyway there was an adorable 8 month old spayed flemmie that came in and she had a really long tail that she could ripple it was so weird! I love her personality and I want to see if maybe her an Franz like eachother. XD I want my bunny to have a friend. We'll see!

Also they’re having a rabbit festival for the shelter and they’re goin to have people show the public how to clip nails and groom properly and I totally get to bring Franz to demonstrate the grooming of long haired bunnies XD I <3 homeless bunnies!

I haven’t been able to get my car out of the driveway for 2 weeks now!! The stupid gutters are broken and this water runs down into the driveway and there’s a two ft mound of ice perpetually in the shade >.< I hired some guys clearing snow to fix it and they looked at it and were like "uhhh we can't do that" lol the snow is so bad I think it will be a serious catastrophe if it snows again over what's here… There's no where left to put the snow. Everyone's yards are piled up 20 ft high and same next to the roads… The roads are all single lane now as well now because of it, and it's a nightmare!!!

The rabbits are all under 8 months. I might talk to the shelter director about it on Friday if they still have it. Also the special needs volunteers on Friday put so much food and hay in the cages… Like so much that it reaches the top of the cage and the rabbits can’t actually go in their litterboxes :/ I’m working on Fridays so I can keep an eye on them lol. As my boyfriend said, the Saturday ppl clean up after the Friday people lol

Hey guess what.   I bought a Nook.   Not the color one I didn’t want finger prints all over the reading screen.  Plus I got a great deal on ebay. I did lots of research and was thinking of Sony til I read that Nook can do epub and other things.  As Sony can however this one has Wi from Barnes n noble.

I love this thing.  So easy to work.  AS usual I read the directions last.  Found I didn’t even need them.   Am having trouble tho with epubs.  The library did say their ebooks can’t be downloaded on ereaders just on pc’s.  

When I tried it said I needed Adobe digital reader.   Ok went there did that.   Still can’t get it.  I am doing something wrong. 

I chose this one also cuz Barnes n noble is fairly close.  If I have trouble I can go there. 

I got lots of books already.   Found lots for .89 cents got a few of those.  I put more free ones in and got 44 books now.  Yes some of the free ones are partial books you have to buy the whole thing.  Thats ok   Some of the free ones are very good.

Got bible and the quran for .89   some were even free.    Got shapeshifters n stuff.  Oh and some Amish stories too.   They have about 200 pages.  

I had better put cotton to bed and take ruby out.  it is past cottons bedtime  lol.   10:40 oy I am late.  I spent more time finding free books now I can read for at least a month.    Perfect for my after surgery.   Funniest thing is I sometimes go to flip the page lik,e in a regular book   rofl. 

I have even looked for a physical bookmark   rofl.   Since it is in a nice pink case and  a light came with it it seems like it needed a bookmark for a minute.   I catch myself starting to look then I remember oh yes electronic book mark   silly

I went shopping at Ikea 2 days after getting my wisdom teeth taken out.. and when I smiled, it hurt. I saw all of the nomlicious foods in the food court at Ikea and I wanted to cry!! I couldn’t eat anything! The soups weren’t really my taste..

I got a desk (I’ve never had one before) and chair to study on when I begin online classes, a new dresser, a tall lamp, a book shelf. and a tv stand! I believe my theme was black, lol. My previous dresser was big and bulky (my dresser is in my walk in closet) and I couldn’t hang clothes above it. Now, I can So I am in the process of hanging the rest of my clothes up in my closet.

I need to find my stuffed animal net.. I have 2 black garbage bags full of plushies.. and I got rid of some too -____-

ooo, good point, peppy. i’ll endeavor to do that. most of the folks i work with appear to be pet owners, though no other rabbit owners yet. there’s a lot of, oh, look at your rabbit! i have a dog/cat/etc.
